I started to buy a cheaper-priced copy of the Shure WA310 cable but opted for the name brand. We used them to connect a Shure body pack to an EKG microphone. The microphone can use a 9-volt battery or phantom power. Using the body pack meant using the battery. The combination worked perfectly. Instead of using cables for two mics, this setup gave me complete mobility which was great for the Kid's choir presentation. Once the kids were finished the mics and stands were picked up and moved to the side. Using wireless mics for presentations means we can use any space we want without having cables on the floor creating trip hazards. We also don't have to steal the adult choir mics that we use at our normal services. Another plus is using this setup for productions or for adding more mics to the combined choirs that spread out wider than the normal choir space. Yes, I would buy these again.

Works great with Sure wireless systems

The cable worked as expected... like a gem. But what is really impressive was the delivery. I ordered this cable last minute in the evening. I drove from San Diego towards Beverly Hills the next morning, I had these cables scheduled to deliver to an Amazon locker not far from the venue I was scheduled to work and as I was about to exit the freeway I received the notification that the cable had been delivered... simply added a stop to my google map drive and bam I had the cables in my hands with only a 3 minute detour. Service second to none. Thanks Amazon!

Since I'm too cheap to buy the all-in-one SM58 handhelds, I used this for plugging an SM58 into a a BLX bodypack that was already gain-set for a condenser headset. The levels were perfect right off the bat, the sound was just as good as if I'd hard-wired, and the announcer loved it. Caution: don't plug anything in that can't handle phantom power. I didn't get to test if phantom power is delivered or not, but I wouldn't chance it. I only tested this with a mic. A line-level device might be too hot.

i purchased these Shure Mini Qg/Xlr Cable to use with my Shure wireless lavalier mic pack. i wanted to place my powered speaker in the corner of a room and my laptop/cd players in a different area. One end of cable went to mic pack, the other end connected to the XLR output of my mixer. the receiver then was connected to my powered speaker. some minor adjustments had to be made for gain. once it was done, BAM!! i had sound coming out of the wireless speaker that was in the corner. NICE!!! the setup looked great (no messy cables everywhere) and sounded great too!

We use these when someone wants to add an XLR input at the last minute. Usually we use these with a DI when we already have wireless setup and we just attach to a belt pack.

As a production and event support professional, I knew exactly what my expectations were for this cable: to connect a line level audio source using an XLR balanced output to the proprietary multi-pin input connector on my Shure wireless beltpack transmitter. The cable worked perfectly, as expected. My initial application was to feed a music source from inside Toronto's Duke of Somerset pub to the outside patio without stringing any wires. I used a mid-level analog UHF Shure system that I had on hand, along with two Yamaha StagePass 300 PA systems that I set-up on the 150 seat patio for this 4 hour long special event. The client raved at how I was able to make this happen. For anyone who would say 'why not just use a music source on the patio?', in this case that was not possible. I needed to match the tunes to existing patio speakers that were hardwired to the same commercially licensed music source. So this cable was the bridge that allowed this to happen. Of course, you could also use this cable to connect any wired microphone to your wireless beltpack. Just be sure to set the input attenuation on the beltpack appropriately. And finally, kudos to Amazon Canada for stocking this item and delivering so quickly!
