Love this set
๐๐๐๐๐ I'm absolutely loving this set of 3 dough press cutters! ๐ด๐ The 3 different sizes are perfect for making all sorts of treats, from Indian Gujhia to dumplings and ravioli. The cutters are easy to use and clean, and the results are always impressive. ๐คฉ I've already recommended this set to friends and family, and I'm sure you'll love it just as much as I do! ๐

Super Easy!
Decades of sealing with a fork are over. This set is freaking GREAT! I used the 5โ below with the supermarket 5 inch empanada wrappers from the freezer section. No need to add flour to the press set. This is a foolproof way of getting things done at a rapid rate. And they are uniformly appealing to the eye. lol! These are well-made, reasonably priced, easy to clean and nestle well. What a great investment!

They work but takes some practice.
They work well. The sizes are decent, for a beginners set but it doesn't come with instructions. Seems like that would be important, and maybe someone would say, that it's straight forward, but it isn't and I have the dozens of ripped and broken and discarded dough to prove it.This is what I found works best for me:First, grease the press. We used natural butter. One could use whatever they want.We spread the butter on with a glove and a rubber basting brush. Then take your dough (we used previously frozen dough disks) and kneed them gently in your hands. Like if you were going to rip them but don't. Just a little tug here and there. It's best to use the dough when it's still frozen, and defrosting. Don't wait till it's completely defrosted because you'll never get it to hold anything or mold properly.Just kneed the disk, place it on the press you want, put a little of whatever you are going to make (doesn't hold a whole lot) and then gently press it together holding it in both hands.I tried just using it on the counter and pressing down, but it just made the dough rip when opening.Have a fork, some toothpicks or something similar nearby, to help unstick some parts of the press. Sticking is normal. Then place on a greased non stick pan (just because it's nonstick doesn't always mean things won't stick) and then put an egg wash on (egg yolk with a few tablespoons of water or milk). The food comes out good, and the shapes are almost excellent. The issue is that it isn't exactly as depicted. Expect to make a mess and lose some dough disks. Still, for the price point, it's fair.Because it's plastic, it's easy to clean. So at least there's that. I'd recommend the product for simple cooks, for something commercial, yeah, get something way better.

Making dumplings from store bought wrappers
Works ok , does not fit standard dumpling wrappers , I had to improvise and push the filled wrapper to the edge . This was the smallest size .

Fun set for making empanadas, dumplings and small pies
The PrepWorks 3-piece dough press set is a fun and practical kitchen tool for making empanadas, dumplings, and small pies at home. The three different sizes give you flexibility for different recipes. The BPA-free plastic is sturdy and the hinge mechanism seals the edges nicely with a crimped pattern. The presses are easy to use โ place your dough circle, add filling, fold and press. Cleanup is simple with a rinse or in the dishwasher. I've used them mostly for empanadas and they consistently produce uniform, well-sealed results. The crimped edge holds up well during baking or frying. A great gift for home cooks who enjoy making dumplings or pastries. Highly recommended!

Wonderful!
These are great! They have the circle cutter made into the back, so you always get the right size. Clean up easy, and crimp great!
User
Does fine.
Very simple to use and clean, just wish the crimp part was a bit thicker. I have only used this with pastry dough which puffs up and it seems to leak. I will try with bread dough and keep you updated.

Need to seal the dumpling before using the mould to press
Easy to use but even the smallest is too big for most dumpling shells that we could get from the supermarkets. I have to use water to seal the dumpling edges then put them in the mould to press.
