5-Pack Dual H Bridge DC Stepper Motor Drive Controller Board Module L298N for arduino

I liked the fact that they are a better alternative to the Arduino Motor shield unit that I already have. It's much more compact and was better for use in my Arduino self balancing robot than the shield unit which has to plug on top of an Arduino Uno.

Usee loads of these. This one was used in a blind raising system.

Arrived on time. No documentation provided and no links for such. However a google search will provide you with enough information to get going. No complaints with vendor, all units worked straight out of the box and the following comments apply to the module itself (irrespective of vendor). There is no provision for current sensing, which means you might have to drive your motors at a lower voltage than desired. When pulling 2A on each output, the module's heatsink does get very hot. Depending on use you may wish to add additional cooling.

all 5 came in the package. tested out 1 of them so far and it works as intended.

Really worth the money it takes, all boards work well and have a small weight. Highly recommended stuff.

Machen genau das, was sie machen sollen. Ich setze sie ein um meine alte LEGO Eisbahn zu automatisieren.

E' il modulo più economico con L298. Ci sono altri venditori che li vendono alla metà del prezzo, ma son chip più economici che non hanno le proprietà dell'L298 (ad esempio arrivano a gestire solo 10V, io dovevo pilotare motori a 12V e non facevano al caso mio). In più questo tipo di moduli ha integrato un regolatore di tensione a 5V (il solito 7805, ma in un package non minuscolo), comodo se con un solo modulo volete alimentare sia il motore che il microprocessore da usare come controllore. Importantissimo bonus il fatto che sia possibile variare la velocità del motore applicando un segnale PWM agli ingressi ENABLE. Decisamente soddisfatto. Grazie al dissipatore incorporato sono riuscito a pilotare anche motori da 20W per diverso tempo senza avere problemi di sorta. Ci sono molti tipi di moduli con L298: questo è consigliatissimo.
