3 Pack Whole Food Vitamin C from 11 Berries with Antioxidants, 180 Capsules

I finally found a quality vitamin C supplement which I feel is responsible for better sleep. Also I started taking milk thistle about a month ago and my belly is feeling softer than it has in many years, like maybe 20. But this vitamin C is amazing! While the milk thistle stopped my belly from being hard, it the addition of this vitamin C that makes my belly squeezable with only 2 fingers! This is a huge breakthrough, & I believe that now I can finally get my digestion under control and this will make it possible for me to lose weight.

The biggest draw to this vitamin C supplement for me is what is DOESN'T have: no fillers, no artificial ingredients, no synthetic substances, and no GMOs. All you get in each capsule is whole food-based vitamin C (which is presumably better for absorption), which I appreciate. I wish each capsule contained a larger mg serving of vitamin C -- although my understanding is that the body can only absorb and utilize about 300mg of vitamin C at a time, a bit more per capsule would be a nice bonus. This is a minor nitpick, however. These capsules are average in size: smaller than most once-a-day multis or Ancestral Supplements dessicated offal capsules (for example), and very easy to swallow with a sip of water. There is a very mild dark berry aftertaste that I detect, but I rather enjoy it and it doesn't linger for long (if that flavor doesn't appeal to you). This SmarterVitamins "TruC" vitamin C has quickly become one of my 2 "go-to" vitamin C supplements which I trust for quality, dosage, and integrity.

UPDATE 1-31-21 I've been taking these vitamin c pills now for a year and I love them. I honestly think they are the highest quality natural vitamin c supplement you can get. I love them so much I've got my wife taking them now and we've started taking their vitamin d3 also. Amazing product! Amazing price also! I've been taking this for 2 weeks now and i think these combined with some other new vitamins I've started taking have made a slight difference in the way i feel. I was looking for a whole food type of vitamin C at a good price and thought I'd try these out. So far so good. Easy to swallow. Has a slightly sweet taste. I like the fact that they're capsules and not pressed pills. I will update my review after I've finished at least 2 bottles, that way i feel that I've given my body enough time to have the full effect from any new supplement or vitamin.

This Vitamin C seems high quality. I appreciate that it is true Vitamin C sourced from real food as opposed to created in a laboratory. My only complaint is that the amount of C in each pill is quite low; there is only 90 mg per capsule, which means that if you're looking to do Vitamin C therapy (at least 5,000 mg per dose) you'll have to take the entire bottle in one day. But given that this is sourced from real berries and NOT made in a lab you're sure to absorb every bit of it which is not true of almost all other brands on the market. I have been taking this with natural herbs in order to boost my immunity to fight a sinus infection and I must admit the infection is almost gone (naturally!) and I am quite pleased about that. I am planning to try more products from Smarter and hope that they are as high quality as their TrueC. I will definitely be purchasing more bottles as they offer 3 together at a discounted price!

I’ve had great experiences with all of the Smarter Vitamins sups that I’ve tried so far. No noticeable side affects, proper sizing on the pills so they go down easy yet they’re not so small that you end up dropping one every time you open the bottle (the Biotin, sooooo small...). They are whole food derived so your body has a better chance of being able to digest and actually use it and of course the value is outstanding! I’m currently using their Omega product as well as their Caffeine / MACCA product and I have nothing but good things to say. The company is quick and responsive also. Research will tell you that Vit C is not a vitamin that most people “need” to supplement, but in today’s world I see it as cheap insurance for the immune system; especially if you over stress your body, don’t get consistent adequate sleep and don’t get a lot of it in your diet.

This Vitamin C supplement is excellent! The organic fruit powders and extract powders are wonderful and purposefully chosen. These capsules are very small and easy to swallow. They've been instrumental in boosting my immune system and helping my body recover from upper respiratory infection/flu symptoms. The quality of this product and this company is second to none! I'm very happy with it, particularly because I don't get enough fruits and berries in my body on a daily basis. This supplement helps me get the nutrients I need, and for that I'm very thankful. The capsules are plant-based, Non-GMO, and USDA Organic. I genuinely feel healthier and have more energy since starting this supplement. I highly recommend it!

I haven’t had my bloods drawn again yet. But I was borderline on my way to scurvy. For months they couldn’t figure out my symptoms and a specialist ordered a vit c panel. They say in the USA you can’t get scurvy. Couldn’t be more wrong. Ask your doctor to run a test if you have mysterious symptoms.
