went in excellent on 2010 tundra
The instructions are almost useless, and there is no wiring diagram, but if youve ever done any wiring work before its super easy to figure out. You will need some wire to bring power in, and the special tool to take off your factory window cranks, a drill with a phillips bit, a dremel, and just simple hand tools. If you can change spark plugs, and wire a car stereo, you're mechanically inclined enough to do it. I'm completely suprised at how high the quality of the parts was, and how well it works. With engine running both windows up or down in under 3 seconds. Just as fast and quiet as a factory setup.

These things work great!!
This is one of those products you order because they are cheap and then cross your fingers. Very mixed reviews and I read most of them but I took the chance and ordered them. They arrived soon enough and I opened the box and saw all these parts, and started trying to find excuses to return it. After studying everything including the "instructions" I figured out that It was like a menu from an oriental resteraunt . You get one part from the blue plastic tree and one part from the black plastic tree, and pretty soon it all makes sense. They try to make these fit so many cars it looks daunting. Here is the deal: You take off the window crank and the door panel and find a blue gear to fit over the crank stub, then fit the drive end of the motor setup over that gear and find where the motor will fit without twisting the enclosed cables and still has room between the door panel and the door. Then add the braces to the motor to hold it in place. I'm so glad I went ahead with the installation, If you don't have mechanical sense call an uncle or someone because the instructions are too generic to cover all cars. I installed mine in an 06 Ford E350 and had tons of room and the motor lifts the window in factory PW time. The price still scares me so I ordered a second set for parts if I ever need them.

Well made kit, very poor instructions, not for impatient beginers.
The kit itself works perfectly and has plenty of power and speed for me. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is the horrible instructions for DIY if you have no experience with such a project. Another problem is the brass screws sent with the kit to attach the braces. The ones already attached at the factory used tapered screws, but the ones included are not tapered and had to be drilled and tapped to get the screws started. I spent a lot of time figuring out how to attach these due to that problem. Here is the experience for a klutzy non-professional: It took me the better part of 3 days to get it right. Most of this time was initially spent figuring out how to remove the door panels on my Silverado 2-door, attaching the brass screws and brackets, and positioning everything just right. The main hold-up was redoing everything 4 or 5 times and getting those durn screws into the brackets. The electricals are actually pretty easy, even with lack of good instructions, and self explanatory if you know a little about DC current. I could now install a flawless system in under two hours. After the first couple of attempts to get the door panels off, something I had never done before, I resorted to YouTube for instructions. I searched for my exact, non-power vehicle+"removing door panels" and later "Installing power window kits" and there were several videos on how it is done. Even when not vehicle specific, I got the idea. After a trip to O'Reilly's for a special tool to remove the old roll-up handle, I found the rest of that part relatively easy. I was a Pro after doing it for the 4th or 5th time having to relocate various components IN THE RIGHT ORDER to finally get things just right. This is my usual, if inefficient, procedure to learn how to DIY. Finding a power source and ground was easy enough and when you unroll the wiring, it will become pretty apparent what goes where. But, getting the switches mounted perfectly to the vehicle was somewhat of a chore as there are no patterns or bezels to do any attachment. I installed the Driver side dual switch on the door panel just above and in front of the armrest. I had to measure and cut a square hole in the panel after careful positioning and re-positioning, I cut the hole and found later that when the door was open, all was cool, but when the door was closed...the switches were barely clearing the dash protrusions and when the door was completely tightened and popped down, the switch was too close to the metal part to fit and popped-out. I will fix this somehow. On the rider's side, I opted to make a hole for the single switch in the arm rest itself, cut a hole in it and next the switch in the hole like OEM. This one worked perfectly and much more easily done. I have already admitted to be a klutz in my learning phases, but if I had reason to do this again, I would buy this same kit as it is truly universal and you might be overwhelmed by the left-over parts. It would appear to me for it to be a relatively easy thing for the instructions to be made more plain and thus, the installation more simple. If you have no DIY experience in this, and you want it to be done quickly and without extra holes in places, I would still buy the kit, but have it installed by someone who knows what they are doing.

I had these installed in a new fleet of trucks this spring and have had zero issues since, trucks where all 2017 Ford F250's, Motors are quiet down speed is great up speed is a little slower than Ford's offering I ave 4 stars only because of the up speed being a little slow.
