Projector build with a view to enjoyment
Really enjoyed building this product & the short it plays is amusing. Impressed with the engineering, great quality product which leaves feeling you want to search for similar electrical/ mechanical challenges to build & enjoy. One bot of obvious advice, ensure you have a decent size display cabinet when you catch the building bug.

Beautiful and fun to assemble
I've discovered the products from Robotime a couple of years ago, and since my first purchase of one of their steampunk music boxes, I have bought quite a few for me or as presents. And as a big movie fan, this beautitul projector could only be of interest, and I was not disappointed. The instructions are well detailed and easy to follow, and as long as you take your time (it took me an afternoon to do the whole assembly), assembling the model should not pose any problem for an adult. No glue necessary, which is very nice and impressive given the complexity of the model. As always, the final product is amazing in details and quality, and works perfectly. Obviously, given the size, it's not a very powerful projector, but it's fun to project the film on a wall and show to the kids how these things used to work. Very good purchase all in all, would definitely recommend to cinema fans, models fans or engineers.

Gave my partner many happy hours of work.
I bought this for my partner for Christmas, and he just finished it. He is a retired engineer, and he said he really enjoyed making it, but not to give it to a beginner! it took him quite a while, probably a few afternoons. He was impressed with how well it fitted together, and it looks great now it's finished. We both had fun watching the little film. I don't think either of us expected it to work - but it does, really well. Definitely a hit, and I'll be buying him more of these for Christmas and birthday presents.

Vitascope
Very good quality lazer cut panels. Went together very well. A bit expensive for what it is however it works but quality if images not great. I do enjoy building these wooden kits.

For the meticulous and orderly
I enjoyed constructing the projector. I broke a couple of the small parts and had to glue them back together. I found the wooden pegs fiddly and had to resort to matchsticks a couple of times. I found a pair of small long nosed pliers useful. They were useful for holding small parts and the plier face was handy for ramming the begs home. I confess the only tools provided, that I used, was the posidrive screwdriver. I would recommend this to someone who is reasonable patient and enjoys fixing small things. I found I had to take my time and be meticulous and orderly. I only removed components from the cut-outs as I needed them and kept small parts in the plastic bags provided. It is easy to loose them. I was not able to adjust the focus. I recognised the mechanism but it did not work for me. I just moved the projector backwards and forwards from the screen. A good product with clear instructions and all parts numbered for easy identification. I found that I did not need them but online video instructions are available.

Challenging but fun to build looks fantastic really works.
Quite challenging to build but fun. All the pieces are good quality and fit together perfectly. Sturdy when built. Looks fantastic on a shelf. Small film works well. Nice extra touches like opening side door to see inside. Lovely design. Bought on a lightening deal for £35 but would have happily paid more. Well worth the money.

Stunning!
Absolute stunning. Wooden pieces are easy to pop out and very well cut. This is what I like the most—they fit precisely and no glue is needed to keep pieces fixed. Sandpaper can be used for polishing if pieces do not fit. Very considerate in details. Instructions are easy to follow. If not clear enough, QR codes are ready for scanning. Mechanical drive so no batteries are needed. A difficult time assembling it though… Highly recommended, as a gift for anyone who is a model fan.

It works!
Incredible detail and beautiful craftsmanship! My 14yr old grandson was thrilled and had it working after several hours of construction! Not for the faint-hearted though - quite tricky but extremely satisfying!
