DAYBETTER Led Strip Lights 16.4ft W/ Remote Controller and Power Supply

I’ve purchased a few times from this brand to decorate my living space with beautiful ambient lighting but unfortunately the most recent sets I ordered both stopped working after about 6-7 months of use. Ive tried replacing the batteries in the remote and switching the adapters but they flicker, occasionally turn on one random color like red or white and then they die again. They dont respond to any remote function. I reached out via email but got no response. Hoping to get a replacement before having to order from a different brand next

Great set of lights. I have not put them up yet because I not sure where I want them, so i don't know how well they stick. I did, however, sting them out and played around with them. If IR sensor is not in direct sight to remote, it does not work well, but other than that, they work fine. Really bright, and good assortment of colors. They only show 6 colors online, but they have different gradients to each of the colors. Also there are a flashing setting, fade, and jump setting, or you can just have them on.

I originally gave 5 stars. As of now I've had this for 15 months at my office that I use 1 day per week - so I've used it 60x since purchase for 2 hours up to 9 hours. 2 months ago the cap popped off of the plug, then the strip started to peel off the wall and finally on last use only 1/4 of the lights worked. I could never get the remote to work to soften or change colors. This was baseboard lighting in my Massage room. It looked lovely- gave light to the room but kept it dark enough to ne relaxing. However when I massaged my clients, if I was looking in that direction the LED/brightness hurt my eyes. I just opted to buy a small strand of soft white christmas lights instead.

We tried a few of these after seeing someone else who used it for marking steps down to a sunken living room. I put them under the edge of my kitchen island counter, and it not only looks great, but lights up what is in the drawers beneath it, so I can quickly find a tool. At night, it's enough light in the kitchen area to grab a snack. In the nearby tv-watching family room, we put it under the bar from the kitchen, and it's enough light at night for tv-watching instead of complete darkness. The best part is how high quality and high tech the lighting looks. We love that we can change the color for different needs, like white for grabbing a snack, dimmed purple for just ambient light at night. It's been an easy decorating trick that pays off well beyond the actual cost, and I'm ordering more. And the price was the best of any around. I like that the adhesive on the back sticks well, but also feels like you could remove it without damaging anything. Still, I would recommend you put it underneath where that won't be a problem. It's also easy to trim to the length you need. Just a great fun buy, from every angle.

Overview: These being my first set of light strips they didn't impress me but they achieved the purpose I needed them for. I bought 4 boxes and even though each brings its own remote I could control them all with just one. Since it's infrared you have to have the sensor visible but if the sensors are facing different directions it's possible to adjust just one light strip at a time. That's assuming you don't link them up. Since the box did not bring the adapter to connect them and I had forgotten you needed one I just decided to plug them in separately. Also, after looking around the internet I found that with cheaper light strips you should avoid connecting multiple light strips in series because the cheaper they are the higher the risk for a fire. Pros: - The tape was fairly sticky and difficult to adjust once I lightly patted down the strip to the surfaces I used it on. The surfaces were wood door frames and the back of a Samsung TV with ridges in the back (no continuously flat surface for some reason) - Remained cool to the touch after an hour of continuous use. - Bright enough (but I don't have a good point of reference). Cons: - 2 of the 4 boxes had defective tape towards the ends of the light strips. It was almost impossible to remove the film from the tape but after using tweezers I figured out a way to separate them. - Brightness - again I don't have a good point of reference but I was hoping they would be brighter. I'm satisfied but not amazed and I prefer when my purchases amaze me. - Doesn't bring a connector for linking light strips together. Specific Note: One of my light strips had a handful of lights that did not light up. They are towards the middle of the strip. Either they came defective or they are extremely fragile and I do my best to take care of technology.

I bought these because my tv is back lit with leds and most of the skateboards on my walls have leds behind them so this was a no brainer. $10 for leds with a remote is a deal. They worked perfectly and look just right!!! Cheers
