I refer to this often for symptom and medication questions. It has helped me to advocate for my loved one.

This book has been so very helpful as a resource to help guide the treatment of a family member taking clozapine. I’ve bought copies for their doctors who also refer to it often. Just a wonderful, up-to-date reference book on clozapine, a medicine that can truly make a difference in the lives of our loved ones suffering from severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia.

A truly comprehensive yet user friendly text on one of the most important medications in our field. Dr. Meyer has done such an incredible service to the field with this work.

Well, I tried to read it, but I don’t know. It was kind of too much info for me, however Daniel Laitman MD recommends people get this who are considering clozapine.. I sent it back because too medical for my needs- I just want an overview of it. I was thinking if my loved one could use this medicine so I’m keeping Dr.Laitman’s book but not this one. (Dr Laitman’s son Daniel is on it and he, his wife and son and another Dr wrote a book on clozapine and their great experiences with it and handling side effects of it).

This is a must have , there is no other comprehensive book about treatment with clozapine .

I'm a pharmacist working in a psychiatric facility, so I see clozapine a lot. I'm always looking for new texts to enrich my office stash and have as good references. I have others of Stahl's texts and I thought this one would be a good addition. I will say, the material is not as detailed or in-depth as I would like it to be for use in a clinical setting; it really is just a handbook to help folk along with their understanding of clozapine, not really meant for deep diving. I liked it for its organized chapters, the relatively simple way the information is laid out and conveyed, and manages to break down one of the most complex antipsychotics on the market. It's a book that I now like to use as a quick reference or as something to remind me of a detail that's on the tip of my tongue. Some of the information is deeply technical, but even so, I think this handbook could even be useful to a layman if they or someone they know is starting clozapine and they're looking for more information.

Fantastic resource. Systematic, direct and very readable

I purchased both kindle and hardcopy. In Kindle tables and text were split among different pages making it difficult to read making me to purchase hardcopy. Coming to hardcopy it was exactly the size of my palm. Coming to content very basic content the same we can get from standard textbooks and prescriber guidelines. Finally it is very costly for its content.
