Ernie Ball Mammoth Slinky Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings, 12-62 Gauge (P02214)

Had these on my PRs since march 2025, it’s dec and 2025. These things handle my drop c tuning very well and could go lower. My only wish the 25w wasn’t w but other than that it’s an excellent set

They feel very nice, keep in tune well, the sound is very good as any other Ernie Ball strings. In my experience, they do best with Drop A tuning or Drop B, otherwise it feels too tense.

These are legit Ernie Ball strings

For years I have used Fat bottoms and skinny tops from Ernie Ball, these are the first time I have used this gauge. I play a whole step down from standard to "D" but these strings work great in "C". The warmness and tone are great. I use a Dimebucker on the bridge and a Seymour Duncan SH-1n '59 on the neck, playing through a 20 watt orange crush practice amp. In my opinion these would be great to fill in lower end tones on single coil pick ups

The high E string broke immediately, but the others sound bright, stay in tune well and sound great.

They are very tight at drop C, playing slipknot song very confortably and still in tune.

Great strings for drop B without being to sloppy on the low strings. Great tension on drop C.
