Very precious book, lovely gift to give or receive. Devotions are personal and down to earth, like the Lord is having a conversation with you, the apple of His Eye. It is suitable for anyone as it speaks to your heart.

This devotional is God’s word of love for us. Reminding us of His unconditional love, faithfulness, mercy & grace. Every time I read it I was in awe and could feel His words and instructors strengthening me, filling me with His peace. What a blessing!

I spend a week on each devotion, because I want to get every morsel of revelation from each entry. Dr. Brian Simmons and Gretchen Rodriguez are both wonderful authors tuned into the very heart of God. This is one of my favorites. I had an encounter with God on the second devotion. I was suffering from two 9mm kidney stones in my left kidney. God hadn't answered my prayer to dissolve them, doctors were slow to do anything and I was near tears. The title is "I Am enough." In the first part it says, "I will not shield you from every hardship, but I am enough as you walk through them with your eyes set on Me. I am enough." Then later it says, "Many have found that, even in the deepest pain, I am still enough. Come and learn the secrets of satisfying grace." While I was reading this I was having a little 'pity party,' feeling sorry for myself thinking, God is never going to help me, but as I was reading this on my desktop computer I looked up over my monitor and my eyes meet the gaze of Jesus. I didn't see His face, but I knew it was Him and He started downloading in my soul the satisfying grace that I needed just then. During the whole ordeal of kidney surgery and recovery all I needed to so was look up and the download followed. Praise His precious and holy Name, the Lover of my soul.

I would give 10 stars if I could. This book is amazing !! It will usher you right into a precious time with Father God. I love how he uses scripture at the end of each devotion that ties in with each one, and the Passion Translation makes the word of God come alive like nothing I have ever read before, and I used several translations for study and ministry purposes. This book is so pretty and would make a great gift with it's beautiful hardback cover and ribbon place keeper.

If you do not mind hearing the Lord speak to you through another writer, this book will not disappoint you! I read it from time to time to hear from the Lord myself. The devotions that I have read have been exactly what I needed to hear from the Lord when I read them. This is not an interactional book, so if you are not predisposed to being challenged in that way, you will probably enjoy this book.

I cannot express how much the beauty, joy and victory these devotions brought to both my husband and myself. They were read every day, and studied again later. We were thrilled to see #2 was introduced and have already ordered it! We plan on reading them again.

Along with the other volume , this is my go-to Devotional.

I CHOSE THIS RATING, BECAUSE IT SPOKE DAILY TO MY HEART, WHATEVER I WAS GOING THROUGH, IT WAS JESUS SPEAKING ENCOURAGEMENT, CHALLENGE, AND LIFE , INTO EACH STIMULATION. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO DESIRES A CLOSER WALK WITH JESUS, AND WANTS TO KNOW WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY ARE HERE FOR.

Un excelente devocional, donde en verdad Dios te habla en cada uno de los días, y tiene lo que necesitas para ese momento. Dios es bueno. Recomiendo totalmente este devocional.
