Excellent taste with a great deal of vegan protein.

Yeah, I didn't expect good jerky after I went vegan 15 years ago. Holy Hickory Smokes! The Primal Spirit Vegan Jerky is so good. I've tried all of the flavors but this is my favorite. Tons of protein and not a lot of calories. Exactly what I was look for at a more than reasonable price, especially compared to some of the other plant-based jerky I've found. Highly recommend!

Such an easy go to snack. Light years better than other vegan jerky. Expensive but not really for vegan jerky. Worth a try.

I found this In my local market and bought almost all of it after trying the hickory and Thai flavors lol. They stopped selling it so I found it online here at a similar price. I haven’t liked the other flavors as much as hickory ( just my personal taste preference.) but this stuff is amazing. It’s a great and filling snack for me. This has saved me from pigging out on something when I get hungry between meals so I always keep a couple on hand. It does get stuck in my teeth and irritates my gums badly, so I do keep floss picks on me if I’m eating them while out. Either way I would for sure get these they’re a must have for me. I have hated almost all other vegan jerky’s I’ve tried in the past decade. Maybe im too picky but the textures or flavors weren’t good for me so I’m just really happy to find something not only palatable but yummy and satisfying:) my 4 year old son also likes them but they’re a bit hard to chew for him and my meat eating guy loves these and often steals a few.

I recently tested this product for possible use on my long hikes in the Sierras--where I sometimes like to go "no-cook" to avoid the hassles and the extra weight. I'm also vegan, so I'm always looking for light, convenient, and meatless food products that will offer a bit of protein. Primal Spirit Soy Jerky certainly fits the bill in many respects. It's a power-packed soy jerky, conveniently packaged in small, bite-sized pieces (usually the stick comes out of the package in two pieces). The flavor is both salty and sweet, perhaps a bit too sweet for my tastes. But on the whole, a very pleasant hickory smoke flavor. It's also a bit "wet" or sticky. While some may enjoy the tenderness this wetter texture provides, I prefer a dryer jerky to avoid having to wash my hands while hiking. I should add that the package was very difficult to open by hand alone. I usually needed scissors or a knife--again, not very convenient when hiking. This is a good product with a few downsides that may only be my personal preferences and not yours. Give it a shot, you may like it. PROS: --Well-seasoned soy jerky --High protein vegan food source --Tender and easy to chew CONS: --A bit too sticky and wet for my purposes --Package is tough to open without a knife or scissors --Perhaps a bit too sweet for my tastes Overall, a good product, but I'm going to keep looking. I'd be interested to hear what others find in soy jerky products as well. Thanks.

these are so goods size is just perfect always been my favorite even my cat likes it (she's a little weird) taste so good and the texture is perfect and the quality cant get any better

Hi! I could eat a box of this vegan jerky at one sitting. Delicious! The hickory smoke flavor is mildly hot without burning. There's to be a hint of maple syrup or similar tasting spice in the flavor. Texture seems right. Chewy but soft enough. The strips came in an outer paper box. Easy enough to open. The individual wrappings are easy to open with scissors. Tougher to open by hand. Individual wrapping has a cut at top for peeling open. I had no luck that way. For taking these on a hike it's a good idea to bring scissors. I recommend this jerky for a great snacking experience. I hope to buy other flavors in future orders.

I’ve bought this Vegan Jerky several times outside of Amazon and I loved it. This time it was very hard and dry.

Addictively good, absolutely delicious and I need to stop buying these because they are too good not to eat and order more. Lovely flavour, good quality with protein etc. and a nice jerky-like chew without breaking your teeth.

I like them. It is a nice alternative to other vegan jerky....but it is SO SALTY...and I am the type of person that adds salt, to my salt! Just tone it down a bit and it will be perfecto

I bought the 24 pack of these because, although ostensibly expensive, they're much dearer if bought one at a time. I had intended to share these with a friend, but she never even saw one as I'd munched the whole lot down within a mere three weeks. They were kind to my somewhat fragile digestive system and, although I'm sure that a large Bix like this could have been cheaper, I'm glad that I gave them a try, if only because they're a welcome change from peanuts, pickled gherkins or baby plum tomatoes dipped in spicy houmous. Give them a try, you might also find them irresistible. 😁👍

It did take over a month to deliver but apart from that it’s perfect and I want to keep ordering. They taste amazing and the texture is perfect, it doesn’t get stuck in your teeth like other tender vegan jerky’s I’ve tried and it leaves you satisfied and not feel the need to eat more after, even though it’s very delicious. My favourite jerky so far (I’ve tried many different brands). I highly recommend!

I purchase these for busy days to ensure I get my protein intake and really like the flavour and texture. Box was very banged up though.
