Works great. Wasn't hard to install. Just make sure you have drill bits for the project. Otherwise its going to be one heck of a project.

This product is good however the bolts screws not so great. I struggled a lot only because the bolts are not good quality meaning they will strip especially when they have to be tight against metal. What I would've done is get better quality bolts and longer ones because my Oklahoma Joe had an additional piece of metal trim inside, so I struggled a lot trying to get the nuts to tighten or even get a grip while holding them and the bolts getting stripped, it felt like a gamble. Also, it's best to have a hammer drill not sure if I would've had the same experience with a standard drill.

These LavaLock clamps are a must-modification for any Oklahoma Joe Highlander/Longhorn Smoker. They are a tremendous accessory that goes far in leak-proofing your new smoker. I lined the clamp up with the top part of the handle bracket. Then using a silver tipped marker, I marked the four holes. After center punching the marks, I drilled a 1/8" hole followed up with a 3/16" drill bit. The included hardware is 10x32x1/2" bolts and they fit perfectly. The only thing to keep in mind, check the back side for the weld spot. You will need to shift the clamp a bit so it doesn't fall on the weld bumps. These LavaLock clamps really work and one of the must have mods to do. I highly recommend them. I give the clamps ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and bet you will too! Thanks for Reading - ✌😉

Arrived with hardware. I have attached to lid and its shuts it up tightly.

I bought these for a large double propane cooker I was building for our church, the issue is that once I installed them and started to adjust them to hold the lids closed the two halves that are pressed together for the threaded adjustment just spready apart and let the nuts slide through...very cheaply made. In the end to solve the issue I had to put a tack weld on the two pressed together sides to hold them together and this solved the issue but I should not have had to do this and not everyone has a welder handy. Once I made the tack welds they worked fine and they hold my cooker doors closed even while traveling with the cooker. My only other complaint is there are better built options of the same type clamps that have provisions to keep the halves from spreading that are actually cheaper on Amazon.

I bought these in anticipation of my Char Griller Competition Pro 8125 cook chamber door leaking like a 50 year old dry rotted tire. After installing the gasket around the edge... I didn't néed these. I kept them just in case, they are of great quality and seem pretty solid..... After all they are Lavalock.

These work well. Very happy with them.

This is a low quality latch, not close to what expected at all. I had to add clamps for each to keep it from fell apart while instal it because it happened before I start to use it. Not recommend it and don’t spend your money in low quality products 👎🏼

Exellent mod for your ok joe, simple enough to install with a couple of good drill bits. Use with a gasket kit to get a good seal.
