SAX EXTRA WHITE 90lb. Drawing paper is the highest quality I’ve ever used! Buy through Amazon on School Specialty not other suppliers that substitute cheaper paper. It’s a hassle to send back something this bulky and heavy.

Some reviewers have criticized the weight of the paper and say it can’t be 90lb, but it feels like a 90lb text weight to me (about 135gsm), but not the 90lb cover weight of card stock. Paper weights can be so confusing and the seller should clarify this and really use the gsm weight to avoid disappointing customers. So if you’re looking for card stock thickness, this isn’t the product you want. This paper has been great for making bound sketchbooks. FYI for other bookbinders, the paper is short grain.

This paper is the perfect all around paper for all my projects. I can use it full size or cut it down as needed. It is my favorite and most used paper. I use it for writing, gluing up for making things of paper, for lining, for covering things, and for signatures when making myself a book.

Great for the art room - sturdy enough for watercolor paints, tempera, or acrylic.

Art Teachers! This is the paper you are looking for! Great paper for the classroom. Much thicker than construction paper. Accepts paint, ink, marker, oil pastel and other art mediums well. Great size, can be cut down for projects if needed which extends your supply!

Not 90 lb! This paper is as thin as copier paper. Very disappointing.
