Good quality for the price
Bought these in a rush as another engineer broke the plastic handle on my *other branded* removal tool. These were a quarter of the price. Initial impression was good. The build quality is acceptable, with some minor swarf on the SAE threads, but not inside the tool. I have yet to test these under high pressure, but they hold fine at 10 Bar(g). The action of the removal shaft is good, and it gets a firm grip on the Schrader core. Time will tell if the remains so. My only gripe is the turn action on the ball valve is quite stiff, so may lead to another broken tap if Muppet turns it the wrong way...

Used once so far, does work well
Placed a order for 2X of these on Friday. I got a email saying I was on a different job the following Monday. So wouldn't have time to grab one from the wholesalers. Arrived promptly the following day. Took them to work on the Monday and they worked great. The only part I'm unsure will last is the silver soldered joint on the 1/4 fitting. Time will tell. For the money though you can't go wrong.

Wrong size valves, not a good selection
The parts are not very interchangeable so ,hard to use undoing the valve

Not air-tight and not fit for purpose
I tried to use these valves to evacuate a mini-split system. At first I thought the vacuum gauge was not working, but when located directly on the vacuum pump, the vacuum gauge went down to 15 microns and kept the vacuum after I switched off the pump. Then I connected the vacuum gauge to the valve core remover installer valves and took it down to 100 microns. When I switched off the vacuum pump, the pressure instantly went up to 20400 microns. Had I removed the cores and released the refrigerant with these valves, I would have lost the refrigerant. I am now returning these valves and will buy good quality valves such as Master Cool, Javac or Yellow Jacket.
