Great fun
First off, I haven't had any problem with tangled lines like some other reviewers mentioned. I've crashed it several times and it's never been a problem at all. This kite is really fun to fly and I thought easy to get the hang of as well. The nice thing is you don't have to be careful with it, you can just go for it and try anything you want because if you crash, it's not damaged. Winds around here are usually at least somewhat gusty, and this handles it fine. In a very light breeze (like barely anything) it will kind of float and not be very maneuverable, but it doesn't stall unless the wind almost completely dies. In strong wind it pulls quite hard, and you can whip it around very fast. The higher the winds, the faster the kite will move. The winder that comes with it is just fine for wrapping everything up because with this kite you're meant to start with the lines all the way out, not unspool them after it gets in the air. It has an elastic band to keep everything in place when you wrap it up. It's a little bit of a squeeze to get the kite back into the bag, or else I haven't gotten the trick of folding it right, but it works.I also found it easy to launch by myself as long as there was a pretty good wind. It comes with instructions on how to do this. With a light breeze it might be harder, but that isn't very good kite weather anyway. Often I could get it back in the air after a crash just by tugging on the lines, it just depends how it lands.Overall, I highly recommend this kite. Great entertainment and it seems well made at a good price.

Beware. There is no detachment point on this kite.
This kite seems to be of OK quality, but when I received it, I noticed that the line set was attached to the kite. I carefully unfolded the kite & found that the line set was attached by the standard larks head, but there were no detachment points on the kite to secure the bridle. If you are not interested in detaching your line set then you have nothing to worry about. I will be sending this one back.

Tangled mess
First off, the design is not at issue. It flies easily. But as you spend more time with it, u will find urself constantly unraveling the strings. Especially on an windy day, it tends to get tangled up in a huge mess after a couple of flights. I've spent more time unraveling the strings then flying the kite. I end up cutting up the strings so i can still use it but only at about 10 feet.

fun, but...
I also have the snapshot 2.5, which kinda makes this little guy seem tame...it is fast, tag says it can reach 50mph and i don' t doubt ittight turns, fast acceleration, and steady flight even in gusts can be expectedwould make great intro to dual line control or if you know what you are doing it is a great kite to keep in your car/boat/kayak/etc so a kite is always handy

Great starter
Fun and easy to use. Great kite for the curious kiter getting into power kiting. Do not be disappointed if the first time you go out in low winds and it doesn't have "pick me up" like you see in videos, it will in higher winds.

So easy it could be flown by a one-armed man in a wheelchair
Before this, kite flying with my 13-year old son consisted of his running up and down a field trying to get our kite in the air. Even when we could get the kite to fly, it never stayed up for long. But my son had this kite in the air on his first try and it pretty much stayed there. He looked so happy! After a while my son wondered if he could fly the kite sitting down. He could. He wondered if he could fly it if he had me hold one of the lines still while he manipulated the other. He could. That's why I say it could be flown by a one-armed man in a wheelchair. Seriously. Finally my son wondered if he could fly this kite while laying down. Guess what? He could. When the kite did come down, my son could often get it back in the air without having to stand up but sometimes I had to trot down the field, untwist it, and hold it in the air for him. It always got back in the air with no trouble. We flew this kite for 2 hours before my son called it quits because his arms were tired. He's already looking forward to going back out.Couple of things about the kite for other novices: You have to unwind the string all of the way before flying the kite; you don't unreel it the way you do with a regular kite. To steer the kite, keep your arms at your sides and give a quick pull straight behind you on the side you want it to go towards. Don't hold the pull and don't try to steer it with your arms wide or up. My son says there is sweet spot for flying it. Too high and it's hard to control, too low and it doesn't fly well. He says to keep it in the middle range for best results.About the only thing I don't like about the kite is the way the tail would wrap around my neck as the kite took off. It is uncomfortable when the tail pulls quickly across your skin as it does when the kite first lifts off.

Should be renamed Crapshot
Admittedly new to 2 string kite flying however i thought with some time and a little patience this would be a good entry level kite of this design yet i found this to be the most irritating thing i have ever tried to use. Two sessions on this piece of foil garbage with adequate wind especially this last time with a steady 8-12 mph wind and still this failed to launch. Spent a total of 40 minutes untangling the strings with each attempt. At best the kite would leap up about 15 feet into the air then do 1 of 2 things, instead of continuing a steep ascent it would do a sudden and sharp 180 degree turn and nose dive into the ground or it would go up and then stall as if there was no wind (wtf) and totally collapse on itself, tangling in the process then plummet.other thoughts, the tail is extremely long and annoying and i would have cut it off by at least half if i wasn't going to resell iit. there are no directions what so ever, not even some basic pointers like prism has on their website not that it helped any.final thoughts, just stay away from this kite, if you must get a larger one that will get off and stay off the ground easier.
