Works great for a classic car with no antenna hole.
Works great love the extra long cord. My original 66 vw bus never had an antenna hole. I don’t want to drill one. This solves my radio reception problem.

Worked great! Easily concealed... Can’t beat for the $
So I had to take the time to write a quick review after I installed this antenna in a customer’s golf cart today. I was super weary about buying this product after I read a bunch of bad reviews about crappy signal and the connector falling off after unpackaging... none of this happened for me, matter of fact, I am blown away by this product for the price (and customer very happy)! Didn’t seem cheap at all (I triple checked ALL connections), we will see how the adhesive strip holds up (I’m suspect of it, mostly again bc of reviews, but nothing appeared wrong or anything), but it went on and stuck quite nicely upon installation. My guess is most people don’t know how to properly prep a surface for an adhesive strip and that’s why they had issues (just clean it with alcohol to remove any surface contamination and dry, works every time and will almost always fall off if you skip this step). The receiver, the antenna itself, is super small and slim, which makes it very easily concealable. I used mine in a golf cart, and put it like halfway up the front window frame (I was worried reception would be terrible if I tried to put it behind/under the dash). The reception wasn’t amazing, but my guess is that it’s probably pretty close to “stock,” and really you shouldn’t be expecting much more than that, particularly b/c this one isn’t “amplified“ or anything... I actually bought a second one that was (at the same time), in case the reception wasn’t good on this one, but I left it bc fine! One small negative was that the antenna connector that goes into the head unit/stereo was sorta big, so it was a little hard to push-in, and then when I went to take it out to re-run cord, I had some trouble also (obviously bc was tight going in)... but this wasn’t that big a deal, just be aware and be careful and it was fine. Can’t beat this for the $$!!

Great antenna
Purchased this for my older truck. The factory window antenna doesn't work. Hooked this up and I get lots of stations !

Does it work? Yes, But...
I bought one... Testing it before install, it worked great -- pulled in a lot of stations. Once I installed it and routed the wire to the head unit (along the roof by the window, down the A pillar, across the dash), then the reception dropped to the point of this being useless. The wire routing along metal kills the signal delivery. The wire is not coax to protect the signal. Money wasted, and even worse, the 3M adhesive is nearly impossible to remove. In a boat or a motorcycle with a lot of fiberglass this may work... but for a car (unless tyou plan to have wires hanging out) forget it.

Doesn't work
After I installed it, there was no improvement in the reception at all. It's as though I still don't have an antenna.

Works great for the project I am using it for.
Long story here, since a short story would leave with more questions. I picked up a Japan tuner. If you don’t know, Japan FM range is 76MHz-95MHz. I needed to order a frequency shifter (it basically adds up to 14MHz per channel). That device I picked up here. Since it’s geared towards vehicles, I needed to purchase a few adapters to make it work. I was in the market to find a magnetic car FM antenna. This one was small, has plenty of cord length, can be adhered to (almost) anything, and small. I am using this indoors, so these traits were important. The FM frequency changer works well and its doing its job. The antenna is doing its job. It brings in the channels. The channels are clear. Installation was a snap. Since I am using this indoors, I’m sure this will last for quite some time.
