This is a great product!
This works so well for my special needs brother. He has arthritis in his shoulder and it limits his movement. Since he has used this every day, it has helped so much!

Great home physical therapy tool
Got this for my mom after she had shoulder surgery. My in-law is a physical therapist and recommended this for my mom to continue to increase her range of motion after her formal physical therapy sessions stopped. She has said it has worked great for her. Shoulder surgery has a long recovery period so after a couple of months of using this, she continues to increase her range of motion and is still using it.

Great for Arm/Shoulder Therapy
I bought this to help me with my physical therapy. I had shoulder surgery and my arm was immobilized for 5 weeks. In physical therapy they use a pulley exerciser similar to this. I have a set of routines to do 3 times a day and I wanted to do this one too while at home too. It works wonderfully and I thought that the price was great too.

Just what we needed
My husband had just had shoulder surgery (major tear and two disconnected tendons) and as soon as he started rehab they suggested two different pieces of equipment he should work with at home, an apparatus like this being one of them. There were a number of things available in a wide range of prices, which I'm sure you already know if you're looking at this one. He wasn't sure how long he'd need it or how much he'd actually use it so he didn't want to spend a lot. This one was pretty cheap but seemed to be a decent quality. He ordered it, has used it daily for several weeks and is very pleased with it. It's very simple, does just what you'd expect it to do (gently works the muscles of the shoulders and arms), yet seems durable. Make no mistake though - this is not something that's going to give you a "workout." It's a nylon rope with handles at each end that runs over a pulley. Your right hand will pull the rope toward the right, which drags your left hand upward, and vice versa. You can, of course, exert more resistance as one arm is pulling so the other arm has to strain more.

Cheap
Very cheaply made compared to the one I used during PT

Chronic shoulder pain
Feels cheap, very lightweight. Works for my pain. Since starting to use it, I've only needed Tylenol periodically, where as I use to take a dose daily.

Excellent!
Took absolutely no time to set up. I was cincerned that the pulley wouldn't stay in place when the door was opened. No problem. The intelligent design keeps the pulley in place at all times. Am using it every day and am very pleased.

Decent for the price
This works fine but not exactly as pictured. The hand grips are loops rather than triangles, covered in sort of corrugated plastic wire sleeves. The pulley is a bit flimsy but ok. The worst part is that the mechanism for keeping it in the door is essentially a small foam cylinder inserted in the webbing strap, in order to give it thickness so as to not slip through the top of the door, as opposed to the door hook pictured in the ad. So every time you open the door, the pulley falls. Slightly irritating.
