This does prevent the tub from being too slippery, but it does not let the water drain from under the mat. For some reason, the mat needs to be hung up with both sides open to the air for at least 12 hours for it to dry. Unlike other mats I've had, it has not gotten all grimy and discolored, even though we've had it for 2 years now. Only complaint is how long it takes for the suction cups to dry.

It’s perfect. I don’t slip in the tub now. What makes this product great is the look. Soft bubbles keep your feet comfortable but they don’t slip. Instead of a mat with holes, it’s a solid mat and pillowy bed instead traditional holes. It looks really cool in my tub. And is wonderful to stand on. I’m buying another as a back up.

This mat is totally fantastic. I love how it feels like it has stones in it. It makes it easier to stand on and not have to worry about slipping in the shower or tub. The size is just right and it covers almost the entire bottom of the tub. There is no problems with the water draining from the mat and I truly enjoy standing on it, when I am taking a shower. Based on my own experience, I would recommend this product for purchase.

Originally, I gave this 5 stars. The mat's suction cups work great, holding it to the bottom. The surface is very non-slip, among the best I've tried. There is a "pebble" texture that you may or may not like, but it's subtle and I like it. It's really a great bathtub mat. But it has two big problems. The first is mold. It is absolutely essential that after use you hang it up to drain. I bought one earlier and learned this the hard way. I live in an arid environment. We never have problem with mold or mildew. But when I left the first one I bought in the tub, it quickly developed mildew among the suction cups -- a problem impossible to clean. The second is that it only lasted 2 years with very minimal use. The shower it was in was used three times a week. After 2 years, it suddenly started disintegrating as shown in the photo. It's only exposure was water and shampoo, which was cleaned off and. the mat was always hung to dry. It's inexpensive so replacing it every few years won't break the bank, but it still seems it should have lasted longer.

I ordered two of these mats for our tiled walk-in shower. The suction cups work well, they don't move around, and they make the shower floor so much safer. Great product!

Works great. The shorter length fits a standard tub perfectly. It grips the tub, doesn't slip and has a comfortable non slip surface. It removes easy and hangs nicely to dry after use on the inside of the sliding glass shower door handle.
