W. J 100 All Metal Polish

Good stuff!

I purchased Hagerty 100 for all metals to polish silver on an older western saddle. The silver looked pretty bad when I started and I wasn't sure it would clean up. It looked wonderful when I was finished. Unfortunately, I didn't take before and after photos. However, today I decided to try it on these 10 year old metal, enameled flower pots. I love these pots but they looked really dull and dingy and I wasn't sure I'd actually use them. Washing them didn't help. Wow, the Hagerty 100 took off the sediment and brought back the color and shine. I thought it might remove the color, but it didn't. It's also easy to use and I don't find that I have to rub that hard which is a big plus due to my arthritic hands. I've attached some photos to show the difference. Some people complain about the smell. It does smell so I open a windows to ventilate. I've smelled worse silver cleaners. This is tolerable for me.

The best metal polish I have ever tried - and metal polishing is a big hobby of mine. This is a repeat order, but since it takes so little of the polish to do the job, I won't need to order more for many months.

This is one of the best silver cleaners I've ever used! Not smelly or messy. Works very well with an old cotton tshirt scrap and you don't need much product for it to work. Took my vintage silver from gross to gorgeous in about 10mins! Highly recommended for silver and brass.

I've needed a new silver polish for some time - I have a bottle of Wegman's that is so weird. The polish mixes with the tarnish to form this gummy residue that takes a lot of elbow grease to remove. I turned to Amazon because of the great array of available products and the very useful reviews. The search was for silver polish, and after carefully reading the reviews, I chose the all 5-star rated W J Hagerty 100 All Metal Polish. So I was a little perturbed to receive it and see that on its box, it listed every metal EXCEPT silver!! The product insert said it was not recommended for silver or gold, and specifically silverplate. But after thinking about it, I decided to break the seal and try it, as a good metal polish is always useful to have in stock. I had just unpacked a box of misc. silverplate pieces from our move 2 years ago that were in bad shape - these are things I picked up at yard sales, or even free, so I wouldn't care about ruining one. My main concern was having to use a lot of elbow grease on already damaged silverplate, as the rubbing actually removes silver molecules. But with one gentle swipe of the polish, the tarnish transferred effortlessly to the cloth! Seriously, the only rubbing involved was in the final buffing.

Only used a few times. Okay product for its purpose. I just needed a few uses anyway.

We have been using this for years, so glad I found it on Amazon b/c you can't find it elsewhere. Easy to use, and makes everything shine beautifully, just love Hagerty! Hard to find products that do what they say and when you find something that truly works you want to scream from the mountain tops! This is one of those products.

Same thing as "Happich" (sp?) and much less expensive. I use it on the polished aluminum on my 3 motorcycles. Works great!
