Worked fine for the purpose -- a reasonably-priced solution, easy to use, and resulting in a clear, usable signal for both receivers. ### ⭐ Didn't work for me (70 mile range to tower) *by B***R on February 12, 2021* I purchased a Winegard amplifier to use in conjunction with this GE amplified splitter to boost free reception channels from my RCA roof top mounted exterior antenna, which is a 45 mile range unit, however my nearest towers are about 70 miles away as the crow flies according to Tower finder websites. With that said, using the Winegaurd amplifier with the GE splitter, I could not pick up any channels on my samsung TV when checking for air channels. However, Using the winegaurd amp with a standard non-powered 2150mghz 4 way splitter, I was able to pick up 76 channels crystal ear. Using the GE splitter connected directly to the antenna, I was unable to get any channels. Using the GE splitter connected to the winegaurd amp coming off the antenna, I still Could NOT pick up any channels. Not sure if the GE unit is faulty or what, but I certainly couldn't get it to work. I tried using the GE splitter in several other variations, but still never could get it to work. However the winegaurd unit is working almost flawlessley. I say almost because my limitations are due to My antenna. I have ordered and will be installing a longer range directional antenna tonsee if that “holds” our freebie channel reception. For reference, our Exterior antenna is connected via roughly 50’ of RG6 quadshield spliced via f-connectors and a barrel, once at the antenna, and again at the AV closet where in runs into the 4-way tap.
