Working fine.

Love that it has two different UV sources. Different stains fluoresce at different wavelengths, as well as different fabrics and surfaces reflecting different wavelengths. Sometimes using ~400nm causes too much violet reflection to provide the necessary contrast to see a stain. Switching to the 365nm source removes the violet/purple reflection and provides much higher contrast. Also, the button and battery connections seem to be solid, but time will tell. My last "cheap" UV flashlight had simple coil spring terminals and made very intermittent contact. This uses a nice gold-plated, spring loaded button. Finally, the zoom feature is awesome, you can project a relatively small (and bright) UV spot on a surface across the room, or go wide and cover the entire area around you on the floor. The only negative is that since there are two sources, the spot for each source moves a bit (several degrees) when zoomed all the way in, but it's easy to compensate for.

Ease

At first, I didn't think it was much help. I tried it on dark, patterned rugs. But I gave it another shot and it is definitely great. It is easiest to see old dry pet stains on light carpets in the dark. My beige carpet looked purple except where the old dry stains were. They were easy to see. On dark, multicolored, patterned rugs it was difficult, I turned them over because the bottom was a lighter color. Found the spots on the backside, treated and flipped them and found the spot on the top and treated them. It is alot of work on dark carpets and I'm positive it will take me multiple treatments. (which I'm comparing as well) Ultimately, the best is to treat petstains immediately with enzymatic cleaner. But thats not always possible. I didnt want to destroy the color of my new dark rugs, hadn't spot tested cleaners and sometimes you don't find or know where the pet has been immediately. For old dry stains on light carpets. its excellent! More difficult on dark carpets.

Ok I researched different black lights. If you're using this for CAT or DOG urine detecting this is the one to get. It has 2 different wave lengths, so cat urine shows up better on one wavelength and Dog on the other. Human urine/pee seems to show up on both with one a little brighter. We have both pets and let a stray cat into the house to get them acquainted and didn't work out so well, but he left his mark around the house. Shockingly we have a young male child in the household so it was shocking to see around toilet which objects it detects in human urine spray he has been off target on. So great to get that cleaned up. Light has held up and no other issues. Very pleased with purchase.

Good portable black light. We use it to look for uranium glass at yard sales and antique shops!

I bought this to find UV reactive glass while thrifting/antiquing. It's less powerful than my smaller UV light. I feel like I constantly have to adjust the zoom feature to get it to work the way I'd like. It's really big and hard to fit in my pocket. The on/off button is louder than I like too. Other customers are constantly looking over at me when I use it bc of the noise. The beam does go a pretty good distance though, so for certain purposes this might be a really good feature.

El producto o su descripción es falsa The description mentions 2 LEDs one for 365nm and the second for 395nm. when I didn't get the expected results I measured the waveleghts with a spectrometer and non of the LED is for 365nm.
