This file set is really good. the three different file shapes work well on all minis and can get into some very small areas. I've only used them on plastic but they work well and leave a smooth finish afterwards which doesn't show at ll after the mini has been painted.

Rough, maybe 600-800 grit. You have been warned!
I bought these files, hoping to use the fine tip to get in to corners where normal sanding blocks just can't! I've attached a few pics showing that the files don't file smooth, they will score your model if you aren't careful! If I was to paint this model without fixing the damage - the scoring would be noticeable. So you have been warned! I had to fix the damage using 1000 - 1500, then 2000 grit! As a note, on the head of my model in the pic, I used the edge of a crafting knife to get rid of the mold lines - far cleaner work than the army painters files.
