Installed this fan in my woodworking shop and it's a game changer! Mounting on the ceiling rafters can be challenging because you can't remove the fan from the mounting bracket. Excellent durability and quality of build. The fan is sleek and distributes air efficiently without overtaxing the motor.

Excellent customer service. I purchased the two pack fan and one fan arrived defective. I contacted the manufacturer and they promptly sent me a replacement fan. I am using the fans to provide much needed airflow to my horses while in their stalls in the evening during the summer heat. The fan is doing its job cooling the stalls, works much better than the box fans I was using prior to this. Worth the money!

This is my third Tornado fan. These are solid and well built. I have two of these that are rated for the outdoors and love using them when outside on my covered patio eating dinner with my kids and grandkids. Highly recommend.

These fans work really well and move a lot of air, even on low. Not loud for fans of this size. Anyone who complains about noise has never used a decent sized fan before. Only two points that keeps these from earning five stars: 1. The instructions tell you not to touch the running motor as it gets hot enough to burn bare skin. That worries me somewhat, as it indicates inefficient bearings-bushings in the motor. That makes me wonder how long the motors will last. I purchased two for my outdoor kitchen/grill area which I will be using only for a few hours at a time. For me, I think they should last long enough with the limited run time. However, if I needed fans that would be running multiple hours on a daily basis, I might look for another choice. 2. They have nice long pull chains (for on/off and three speeds) if hanging from a tall place. My installation place them lower, so I need to shorten the chain. The wood pull handles at the end of the chain have the chain fastened inside in a way that’s makes it impossible to slide the chain through and cut it off. Not that big of a deal-I can still cut the chains off, but I will have to try to find new ends that will snap onto the chains to make a proper end to hold on to. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.

These fans are easy to mount and use. We use them outside in Alabama heat and they move the hot humid air in the summer months. Highly recommend

I tried another brand that looked the same, sounded the same, good reviews, etc, but it very clearly is not the same as this Tornado. Right out of the box I can tell the differences. The grill guards on this Tornado are nicely made, they fit together perfectly, the spot welds on each of the wire grids is smooth, and the clips that hold the front and back grills together actually lift up easily enough. Each of these things was a problem with the NewAire 18 inch high velocity fan I got. Luckily for me the box was damaged in shipping so I returned it. Getting the Tornado instead appears to be a good choice. Powerful air movement as expected and noise doesn't bother me. I've used high velocity fans like this for about 3 decades so I know what to expect. Started with a Patton if I remember correctly. Now to see how long it lasts because I work these fans hard all through the warm months, which is about 6 months. Very happy with this purchase. (There was no shipping damage either. I'm pretty sure it was the shipping from NewAire to Amazon warehouse where the damage occurred on both NewAire fans I received.)

Great fan for the price! I use in the horse's stall and its perfect for that! Good power, and isn't overly noisy.

We have a dog daycare so it gets stuffy quickly. Even with central air the panting and heat from the fur crazies can make a room stuffy. I used to run indoor evaporative coolers but one broke down this year and was no longer available so I thought I would try something different. I read the reviews on this and was originally a little skeptical. It arrived quickly and hubby had it mounted within a few minutes. It is heavy so he used longer screws and mounted it onto a cinderblock wall. (guy stuff - I think it would be just fine as long as it's secured on studs.) This thing moves some air and is easy to adjust. It is very quiet considering. You can have a conversation while standing under it and not have to yell or anything. I can't speak to how much cooler the room is, because it runs in a room with central air. But when I am in the line of the fan, it is certainly a nice cool breeze. I am going to buy another now for a different room that could use some air movement.
