Our favorite coffee. It taste so delicious, as coffee should. It's in our subscribe and save. We also buy it as gifts for friends. It's not bitter but it is very smooth. Enjoyable. (We use it our Breville Barista Touch Impress.)

Great coffee, if you like dark roast. It is easy to get full flavor without the bitterness than some dark coffee has. I like grinding these beans fresh, the smell is heavenly.....and then comes that great eye opening taste, with the dark chocolate style finish on your tongue.

This coffee has such an amazing flavor, it really doesn't need sweetener. On my fasting days I have realized that it doesn't hurt to drink much on an empty stomach, so I assume it has low acidity; it also doesn't make you go to the bathroom after a cup. Certainly worth the price.

I love this coffee! It is very mild and smooth. If I want stronger flavor, I just add an extra scoop to my brewer. But...I tend to be on the stingy side and not use as much coffee because this is more on the pricey side.

I'm a coffee snob and can be picky. This coffee is by far the best coffee I've tried. Not only is the flavor wonderful, but even when you smell this coffee next to Starbucks or Peet's it smells so much better and more aromatic! I only buy the whole bean type because that makes the best coffee using my coffee maker that has a built-in grinder in it. There're a few flavors that Kicking Horse has and you should try various flavors until you find your favorite one because they're all quite different. My favorite flavors are Three Sisters, Kick Ass and Smart Ass. I keep buying them repeatedly and prefer Kicking Horse over Peet's Coffee and most of other coffee brands. Grizzly Claw flavor we find a little too bitter to our taste and WIld Horse is a little too strong. But the other three aforementioned flavors are just the best! I won't even look for another coffee company anymore!

Kicking Horse coffee has been a favorite of mine for the past three years. I mistakenly ordered the beans instead of ground coffee this time. No matter. I grind coffee all the time, so I was excited to give it a try. I have ground the beans every way possible - from the finest powder to course granules - but I am stunned by the lack of flavor. I tried doubling the recommended amounts, then tripling it. That was better, but still not good. Definitely not the Kicking Horse I know and love. There is very little flavor, no matter how much I alter the ratio. I know I was underwhelmed by the last batch of ground coffee that I ordered as well, so I am wondering if the product has changed in the past few months. I had my friend try it as well. He ground fresh beans and made a new pot with similar lackluster results. He usually LOVES this coffee and yet he drove to the store to purchase another brand so we could brew another pot with our breakfast. Yikes. I often refer to Grizzly Claw Kicking Horse as the “best coffee on earth.” Hard to live up to? Maybe. But it has always come through in the past. I am writing off the last “meh” ground coffee I ordered as a fluke bad batch. But, I can honestly say I won’t buy the whole beans again from any seller. I am really hoping this isn’t the end of the Kicking Horse flavor ride. I used to look forward to receiving it in the mail and savoring each cup. A bag rarely lasted longer than a week or so. Yet, there is still half of a bag left that no one will use. Sad, but true.

Best organic coffee!! This is the only coffee I buy!
