These knives are well made. The hold up to dropping and skiding well. The blade holds well. I like heavy metal in my hands. I've used these knives for years. They make great presents.

I have several box cutters and this one is my favorite. Easy and safe to open with no fear of cutting myself. Very sturdy and easy to swap out the blades.

This is a nice little knife. I have enjoyed using it so far. It slides into my pocket easily and is also easy to get out. I like the way it feels in my hand. The blade opens and closes effortlessly. My biggest gripe is the position of the button that is pushed to open the blade. It is placed right wherey thumb wants to rest when cutting so sometimes when pushing down on the knife to cut something thick my thumb hits the button and the blade portion goes slack. It may be that I am holding the knife incorrectly I'm not sure, I've just retrained my thumb so it doesn't hit the button. Love the color which hasn't faded even though it's spent many hours stuck in a sweaty pocket. I have had to turn the blade around to use the other end and was satisfied with the ease at which it could be removed and locked back into place. I work in a printing office.

There are dozens of folding utility knives on the market, but this one is probably the best available. The handle is exceptionally well designed and made, with thick aluminum slabs over a steel frame. The mechanism that locks the blade holder in the handle (open or closed) is a button lock and extremely well executed - this is probably the most difficult lock to execute well on a folding knife. The pivot bushings appear to be thick nylon or similar material, so there's no metal-metal bearing area. The blade lock is all metal (many are plastic) and the blades are very easily removed and reinstalled because the holder is quite well made. The blade holder is made of layered stainless steel and very well finished, with smooth edges The lanyard loop is thick and finished quite well. When open, the knife is comfortable and absolutely solid. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality design and superb finishing of an inexpensive product. Just bought another one. The blades supplied with any utility knife are not as important as many reviewers think. They're all sharp and all are disposable, so ignore anything you read about the blades supplied with this knife or any other. You'll be buying blades in bulk for years, and none last very long; unless you buy very expensive stainless blades or blades fully coated with TiN, they'll all rust (high-carbon blades will rust when the oil coating wears away). The blade supplied with this knife at least have the metal composition noted, which is rare, and notable (SK5 is a quality knife steel). When looking for utility knife blades, consider the Lenox blades with TiN edges, the new Fiskars blades (hard to find but supposed to hold an edge for a long time), or the serrated blades available from Home Depot (awesome cutting power). Buy them in 50-blade packs with a dispenser. When the blade edge dulls, turn it around, use the other side, and when that edge dulls, just toss it out and insert a new one.

I got this for a work night but I use it so many times throughout the day and it's so convenient and it's holding up so well

I came on here to find another knife similar to this That’s as good. I like this much nice so much it was so useful that I wanted another similar one but wanted a bit of variety. When I saw the Price again just now. I was shocked. It’s such a fantastic price for a very useful and strong durable item. I love the fact that you can reverse the blades. They last a long time you can throw them out without feeling bad they replaceable the body is strong. It doesn’t flex. five stars around no doubt.

This is my second purchase, genuinely love the box current and actually get compliments on it. My first one was unfortunately stolen, so had to buy it again. Worth the price and nice quality. I love the red color, match it the picture. Regular blade length with plenty of blades to switch to when one is wore out. Fairly thick and has some weight to it. But better quality than most. This second one was damaged during shipping due to it being packed with heavy items, not related to seller but because of Amazon. It was easy to tighten it again and get rid of the wiggle. Great quality box cutter.

Ich hatte zuerst ein Messer für fast den doppelten Preis bei einem Baumarkt gekauft, das habe ich zurück geben müssen, weil es sehr instabil war, und fast nicht zu reinigen, dieses hier ist wirklich viel stabiler. Ich habe noch keine Langzeiterfahrung damit, und auf Dauer will ich doch lieber eines wo man die Klinge heraus schieben kann, statt es aufzuklappen, aber für Arbeiten die etwas mehr Kraft erfordern, wie Spanplatten anritzen oder Teppiche exakt zuschneiden, ist das Bibury wirklich geeignet.
