LEGO Disney Princess Rapunzel's Creativity Tower

Granddaughter loved this present

My daughter just turned 8. She was a huge fan of Tangled and all Disney movies, and she loves Legos, particularly Friends, and this is pretty much a combination of Friends and Disney, so I knew I had to get this for her. She was so excited when she opened it that she wanted to stay home from school and put it together. Of course I said no, but she came back home and had it halfway finished in a couple hours after finishing her homework. She finished it the next day after school and has been playing with it ever since. A good measure of whether my kids like their Lego sets is if it stays together for longer than a week or not. It has almost been a month and every piece is still in its original place even though she plays with it daily. She even had to rebuild after her little brother accidentally broke some of it. This means she loves this set. I'll go over some of the cool features of this set. The staircase is really cool and can close and open to reveal a cool hiding spot behind it. You get the little lizard guy, Flynn, and Rapunzel, perfect for playing the best scenes of the movie out. It has a nice feel for being inside and outside of the tower, which leads to a lot of imaginative fun play. It's fairly sturdy and the 3 tiers are really cool too. If you have a daughter like mine, you can't go wrong with this set. Get it!

Our 3 (yes THREE) year old LOVES disney princess legos.. they are AMAZING!!! My daughter worked really hard for many months to earn these (spending all night in her own bed!) and she LOVES this lego set. The first time she sat down to put this together she was entertained for over an hour.. almost and hour and a half! She was very excited to play with them as soon as they came in the mail. The instructions are actually really super clear. She was able to put the whole thing together with help from daddy by just examining the pictures very carefully. I know the age is 6+ but seriously if your preschooler loves little small very detailed work these lego sets are so great. I can not believe how detailed this Rapunzel tower is. It is so visually stimulating. And there are lots of ways to play with it after it is built. At the stove, the fireplace, the window, the treasure box.. all such awesome touches. If your child is a tangled fan and loves legos then this is totally worth it! We payed around $35 and it was really worth it!

My wife and daughter had fun playing with this for a couple of hours (my wife takes her time to let my 2 year old place some pieces and play with the dolls). It is easy to assemble (if you have the instructions, so don't lose them). It looks good and the quality is great. The dolls really look like the characters from the movie (as much as they can being Legos) and help bring the story to playtime.

I love this set, as do my 3 yr old daughter and 5 yr old son. We also gave one to a friends 5 yr old daughter who immediately on unwrapping it pointed out its biggest short coming : "where's the witch?" I love that Lego has released disney princess sets in this lego scale. In so happy that there are (some) female gendered sets to counter balance the landslide of male sets (chima, ninjago...) and especially glad to finally have male mini-dolls!! The build is nice and simple with some great new pieces or known pieces with new colours and nice stickers. However I wish that the witch was included, as well as being a major character in the film the witch is an important element in the story based play options for the set, without the witch a lot of painting, hair brushing and occasional climbing happens. If the witch was included there would be options for conflict, resolution and intrigue. None of the DP/friends sets have villians, it seems this world, like heartlake city are universally calm and positive. It makes for pretty dull play unless, as my kids do, villians from other play lines are brought across. I love that the sets have been made and look forward to the sets developing in the future, hopefully with a broader range of characters included.

This was bought for my 7 year olds birthday. She loves this set especially all the little details that stay true to the movie. She loves that it includes Pascal, Flynn, Rapunzel, and the frying pan. Its not a huge set. We did not pay "full price" for the set, and I don't know that I think it's worth full price. The set does weather some play, but if the child is a rougher kind of child, it may not stay together as well. My 7 year old is very careful with her legos, but her 2 year old sister, not so much. Overall, my 7 year old is thrilled with the set.

my daughter fell in love with Legos when she was 4 and they can be pricey. Amazon sells these sets at a good price for those I have purchased. One wonderful aspect is that they keep kids busy for awhile. They also help develop a child's ability to utilize graphics when following directions and problem solving.
