This is funtional and cuts down on bird poopin' in a traditional cup. The plastic is stiff so gently fit it between the vertical bars of a typical bird cage. It could easily fracture.

I definitely bought this product based on price and I definitely got what I paid for. Both dispensers were cracked when I opened the package, but thought that they were still useable. When I used them, both opened and spilled water and seeds all over the floor. Still not ready to give up, I slowly and patiently put them together and installed them on the cage. Finally success. However....... The water dispenser seemed to be okay, but it was difficult for my parakeets to drink out of it. When I removed it, water spilled over the floor again. The other dispenser I used for seed. It is not big enough for the seed to come through. My parakeets wanted to eat from it, but the trough would not refill. They would peck at it and try everything they could to get to the seed. I felt like I was playing a joke on them. And when I removed it from the cage, guess what happened. It spilled over the floor again. See a pattern. 🤨 I'm returning it today.

These are great for changing water without opening the cage! This is important if your birds get freaked out or even if you just have someone bird-sitting who isn't comfortable reaching inside. They also stay clean for several days, and are reasonably easy to clean when they become soiled. The only downside is that they're made of very rigid, brittle plastic which leaks after a time. I get about 6-8 months out of one of these before having to toss it; however, they're cheap enough to be worth replacing.

One of the dispensers arrived completely shattered and unusable. Plastic is very thin. The other one is fine and holds water well. Not planning a return for just one broken.

These were useless. bought some other auto feeder for food and water. They made my life 1000x easy.

I love that it keeps the water clean...the parakeets can't easily poop in it. It is a little hard to open to refill..but it's doable. The little cup opening could be a little bigger in my opinion but my keets use it and when refilled it lasts more than a week. The fact that it comes in a 2 pack is great too. I recommend it.
