Utopia Bedding Queen Duvet Insert, White, Comforter, 88 x 88 Inches

My fiance' and I both had king size duvets - mine from Ikea, down alternative, a few years old, and I'm not sure where his was from, but his was true goose down/feathers. After going away for the weekend to stay at a lovely vacation home, we got a bit spoiled with the comfortable bed and great linens there, so when we came home we decided it was time for a bed makeover. Since I love to research, I spent hours scouring Amazon for something that looked like it was actually a great comforter at a great price.This duvet is everything we wanted and more. Oh my GOSH...it is SO fluffy. SO soft. It's my marshmallow cloud comforter. The inside fill has a silky soft feeling to it when you press on it - it sort of slides in your hands when you touch it, like the fill has a light, silky feel to it Even when I sit on the end of the bed to do something, I can feel how comfortable it is to just even sit on. It makes our old duvets seem pathetic, like something you'd go camp with. This duvet is as nice as the bedding we had where we stayed in our vacation home.It feels like it has medium weight, but it's warm - quite warm for the weight. We keep it cool in our home at night so for us it's perfect. The material is so soft. We covered it immediately with a beautiful cover because we want to keep it in perfect condition.I also notice that even though both of our old duvets were king size, this one (also a king) just seems bigger. Our bed is a queen and the king size fits perfectly over it, it drapes over the sides just far enough. Also, my fiance' likes to roll up in his covers when he sleeps. He has plenty of room to do that without taking any of the duvet from my side. :)Verdict - it's amazing, I feel like a princess sleeping under this duvet. It's amazing for this price, amazing. All 3 of us give it 5 stars - me, fiance' and our cat who now won't get off of our bed.Someone mentioned that it doesn't have loops on the corners. That's true, it doesn't, but you can always sew those on if you want to. I found a kit for that on amazon too. But trust me, this comforter is worth sewing loops if you really want them. However, like others, we haven't found that the comforter moves or shifts in the duvet cover at all. It stays very well, better than any of my old comforters did, and I've had a few. Perhaps it's the loft that keeps it in place so well.I'll check back in after some time to let you know if if stays nice.

Product as described very soft love it

I got this for my devet cover and saw a lot of reviews of it being too hot and ignored them cause im a cold sleeper. Ive had this for a few months now and i can say YES it is HOT! I find myself kicking it off every other night cause i wake up sweating.If your house is cold I would definitely recommend! Apart from it being hot the quality is nice for the price and its held up in the washer. There are a few loose threads but its not a big problem as the seams are still intact.

Kept me warm in a 46° bedroom!! I cannot explain how this comforter stays so warm! It's not the thickest comforter I've ever had and I just have a duvet cover on top of it. But I fell asleep with my windows open and in the night it went down to 46°. When I woke up I had no idea what the temperature was I was so warm and cozy (until I threw the covers back) :) if you were looking for a comforter that will keep you warm this is the one. Like I said I have a duvet cover on it but it's a thin duvet cover so I don't know how much that adds to the warmth. It does get too hot in the summertime for my taste but if you have the AC cranking it should be fine. I bought this over a year ago but since I woke up and it was 46° I felt I had to write a review because discomforter is ridiculously warm lol.

I purchased this comforter along with an inexpensive duvet cover, and I just really, really like it! For years I've been struggling with blankets. The struggle was especially onerus when the temperature really got cold. It seemed like a constant battle to keep the sheet and blankets organized enough for a peaceful sleep. I had experienced the use of a duvet many years ago on a trip to Prague, and I had really liked it. I finally decided that I had to revisit that experience on my own bed. That was definitely the right decision. No more struggling with blankets and sheet. Now it's just the sheet and duvet, and I am getting much more restful sleep. In the deep of winter my bedroom is 67 or 68 degrees, and with this duvet and cover I am as cozy as can be. Yes, it was a very good purchase.

Caldo, ma non caldissimo, non parliamo di un prodotto adatto a temperature rigidissime.Io ho il riscaldamento centralizzato per cui la mia camera non è mai freddissima, per cui avevo bisogno di un piumino che fosse una via di mezzo tra l'autunnale e l'invernale ed è proprio quello che ho trovato.Non do 5 stelle perchè al tatto il tessuto non mi sembra di grandissima qualità.
