SGQBB Largest Exercise Mat

I love this mat, though it does smell for a while. It was the cheapest, largest, most durable mat I could find.

I read all the reviews for this mat and the smaller version from the same company! Some people had said their mat arrived dirty, mostly complained about the rubber smell. The manufacturer said they had improved the smell on all orders after March '14. Well, my mat arrived and I didn't bring it inside because the smell was beyond new tires! Finally, after a week I brought it inside and unrolled it and discovered it to be extremely dirty...and nothing can get this stain off! I can't imagine what it could be? The smell is still there in the gym with an open window three weeks later and it still stinks and we can't use the gym or the mat! It is too heavy to return. I do not recommend this mat to anybody with a small house or apartment. Even with a large house and an independent area this think stinks! It is a hard surface, but it DOES NOT SLIP! It gets one start for that!

The mat itself is nice, but the smell from it being rubber is horrid and still has not gone away after 5 weeks. Our workout area is in an open area in our room, so the smell is really bothersome. We've tried keeping it outside in out back covered porch to air it out to no avail. If it does not go a way soon, I'll consider this a wasted purchase and put the mat in the garage. I would not recommend this product unless you have a dedicated workout area in the garage or outside.

The smell is strong, even after weeks. Otherwise, the mat functions well.

Great for high impact exercising - Insanity, P90X, etc. Doesn't move, good size. A little firm for floor exercises like situps, planks, yoga.

Great mat! People complain about the smell but it goes away in a week and i kind of like the smell of fresh rubber anyways lol. I may need a little bit more cushioning, may put some yoga mats underneath for more comfort because I have it on a concrete floor but i do all my P90x workouts and yoga on it and its wonderful. Absolutely no slipping when its wet from all my sweat!! Highly recommend!!

Great mat but the smell was beyond horrendous, even after being outside in cool weather for almost a month.

It really smells bad and is not very thick. My house smells like the Tractor Supply store.
