GoSports Cornhole Bean Bag Toss Game Set - Superior Aluminum Frame (American Flag, Football, LED and Classic designs)

I took a chance on buying this CornHole game since it looks relatively new to the market, but there were some innovative features that caught my eye. I have been playing CornHole for over 10 years so I have seen pretty much every type of game board out there, but I had yet to see one made from aluminum with this type of `MDF' surface. The game comes in a professional looking carrying case and is very lightweight (about 25 pounds). Since I live in Ohio I have been taking it to Ohio State football tailgates and its perfect! The craftsmanship of the game boards looks great and the bags are really high quality. Now for the gameplay...The boards setup really easily (aluminum legs fold out and lock into place) and comes with basic instructions for the newbies. The boards provide the perfect amount of slide as they allow line drives to slide off the back, but lob shots wont slide off the front. The design of the boards is pretty basic, but they can easily be customized with stickers (NFL, NCAA etc). I bought a Buckeye decal from the college bookstore and placed one on each board. Overall very happy with my new CornHole set and would recommend this brand to any fellow tailgater.UPDATEIt seems a lot of people have found my original review helpful, so I wanted to give an update as to how my set is holding up. I have had the GoPong CornHole set for over a year now, and it has held up great. Entering the 2nd football season I have had this set, I can really appreciate its portability as I always laugh when I see other tailgaters struggling with their huge wooden sets. I did have one of the bags burst a few months back, but I emailed GoPong and they sent me a replacement, no questions asked. This is still the #1 CornHole set in my opinion and I look forward to enjoying it for years to come.

The board is attractive and well built. However, I was told by 'experienced' cornhole players the board is bouncy. I remedied the problem by cutting a 3/8 ply wood board to fit up to where the hole starts and attached it underneath with wood screws. It wouldn't have made sense to go further than that point, the brackets for the legs would have been in the way. The size needed was approx. 22 1/2 inch square, This made the board much more stable, less bouncing of the bags and more enjoyable playing, w/o adding significant weight. For a half and hour of time and what amounted to 5$ worth of wood, I now have a game which plays like a 150$ set-up

Light and portable, yet very sturdy. The surface is a bit slick, bags had a tendency to slide down off the surface. I put strips of black duct tape on the board to add a little texture and it works great.

I'm not quite sure why there are mixed reviews here. There were a few reviews that commented on the "slip-n-slide" effect of the surface and the "trampoline" bounce effect from tosses but I went ahead and purchased this anyway due to overall positive rating on Amazon. I should have listened to those negative reviews. Yes, the set transports easily with the bag and is not that heavy to carry around with the aluminum frame, but that's about the only positive aspect here. Once you get the set out to actually play, you'll quickly discover that the bean bags will insanely easily slide off the board due to the incredibly slick surface. If you try tossing the bag with any sort of loft, you'll find that the bag will just bounce off the board due to the trampoline-like bounciness of the surfaces due to the way that they're constructed and sit in the aluminum frames. Basically, the only way to score points with this set is to have perfect tosses into the holes. Otherwise, everyone will just be standing there for hours with no points on the board. I was debating between this set and the all-wood tailgating set but got this since (A) I thought the lightweight aluminum frame's transportability would outweigh any cons and (B) some of the all-wood set reviews said that there were manufacturing defects (like chipped boards, etc.) or damage from shipping. I probably should have just bought the all-wood cornhole set and prayed for a good version when it arrived...

This corn hole set is perfect! We ordered it last minute for a birthday party and have not stopped using it since the moment it arrived. It is lightweight, comes with a fantastic and easy to use carry case and fits perfectly in the car. We have used the set at home, brought it to other's homes and had endless hours of fun. We saw others complain that it moves around a bit, which it does on concrete surfaces, but just a wee tad! The ease of using and storing this set has made it much better than our prior wooden set. We can not wait to toss it in our car and take it on our summer road trip.Great product GoSports!!!! Now we are ready to buy an extra set of bags.

The positive side is they are very light and portable, they are not regulation size but I knew that going in and just wanted a set for the camper but the coating on them is so slick the bags slide off or slide down to the bottom. So as not to have a complete waste of money I am going to try doing a grit clear coat. Had I know how slick they are I would have never bought them.

I was really disadisappointed. All the good reviews were persuasive. But the boards are so slick, the bags slide off, even when tossed gently. You won't score 1 point for landing the bag on the board, and you won't knock the opponent's bags off, because they won't ever have any on the board. This flaw makes the game way less fun.So we considered doing what others have done by adding rough tape to the boards, but that seems like something we should not have to do to a 100-dollar game. I realize many professional corn hole games are more expensive, but still this ought to allow for playing the game fully, including landing bean bags on the board. We debated "roughing up' the board with tape, but of course, that would render the game unreturnable. However, the decision was made for us when we tried to put the board away and the zipper of the carrying bag fell apart. We returned it.On the plus side, the beanbags themselves seemed sturdy.

Great game and well made however not all the bean bags were in the box and the only way to get the missing bag required sending back the whole game and re ordering. The game is in a 2ft by 3ft box not the easiest thing to repack and return....

Package with broken zipper on case in closed position so couldn't open it to inspect the rest of it without risking further damage. Return is at our expense within 30 days (at Xmas) and it's heavy so imagine that would be expensive. Decided to pull the nylon case (actually a skimpy bag with a zipper) apart. Rest of game looks OK. Can't say anything about quality but presume it's as cheaply made as the case. Will chalk it up to experience and will never order anything from GoSports again and will warn others on the RV community forums to be wary ot them. If they had room in the return comments section, or a way to contact them by phone or email, I could have asked them to just send another nylon bag. However, I don't want to be charged for a second one, spend the money for a return, and hope it gets there so I can get my money for the first one back.

Very good quality product and perfect for tailgating. The bag could be better but product is good!

Well built and very strong frame. Top is very bouncy ans and slippery. Very difficult for bags to stay on board.
