**Q: How often are you supposed to use these?**
A: Every 2 months or 60 fires

**Q: It says 12count...how many do you get 1 or 12?**
A: I usually buy five logs which last all winter

**Q: Can this be used if I burn duraflame logs?**
A: We used the Duraflame logs, and used the Creosote Sweeping Log with no problem!

**Q: Should we burn this log during an existing fire in our fireplace? Or just burn this log?**
A: ABSOLUTELY NOT DURING AN EXISTING FIRE!!!!  You take the log out of the box, and it's wrapped in some kind of paper.  You light the paper at both ends (once it's in the fireplace, of course) and let it burn.  If I remember correctly, you are not supposed to clean out the ashes of the log burning, but start your new fire on top of the ashes because they continue to help clean the chimney.  Hope this helps.
