This all-purpose clear ruler helps with secondary cutting of strips, squaring up finished quilt blocks 4-1/2" and under, and trimming and squaring foundation piecing blocks. The extra 1/2" width for seam allowances makes it a great template for 4" finished blocks. Made from heavy-duty, durable acrylic, each fabric ruler is laser cut to work with rotary cutters and craft knives. The smooth edge supports easier, deeper cuts through multiple fabric layers when used with a rotary cutter for fabric. Reduce eye strain and increase your cutting confidence with patented double-sight lines that make it easy to see measurement lines on light and dark fabric. 1/8" grid markings for drafting and cutting and edge markings for accurate measuring support measurement and placement accuracy. Eliminate the need to flip or turn the ruler. Use the left- and right-hand numbering and angle system for straight cuts, along with the diagonal angle line, to accurately align and cut fabric for precise piecing. Reliable and thoughtfully designed, the Omnigrid Square Quilting Ruler is a foundational tool to add to your quilting and sewing supplies, to achieve consistent, professional results in your craft room. ## Features - CUT WITH CONFIDENCE: 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 inch ruler with 1/8" grid and edge markings for accurate measuring and cutting of fabric & paper using a rotary fabric cutter or straight-edge blade for improved accuracy - CLEAR VIEW ON ANY FABRIC: Patented double-sight lines show up on light and dark fabrics; Easily see your fabric through the clear background to help you align, measure, and cut along precise measurement lines in 1/8" increments - CONSISTENT RESULTS: Cut your quilting fabric or scrapbooking paper accurately using your rotary cutter or craft knife; This premium quality, clear acrylic quilting ruler has smooth laser cut edges for clean, consistent cuts and stands up to repeated use - LEFT- OR RIGHT-HANDED USE: Eliminate the need to flip or turn the ruler when cutting using the left- and right-hand numbering and angle system for straight cuts and the diagonal angle line - SQUARE UP QUILT BLOCKS: Use for secondary cutting of strips and squaring up finished quilt blocks 4-1/2" and under; The extra 1/2" width for seam allowances makes it a great template for 4" finished blocks ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0001DUMEA | | Best Sellers Rank | #13,708 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #12 in Quilting Rulers & Ruler Racks | | Brand | Omnigrid | | Brand Name | Omnigrid | | Color | Clear | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 2,016 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00762511100456 | | Graduation Range | 1/8 inches | | Item Dimensions L x W | 4.5"L x 4.5"W | | Item Highlight | Clear Acrylic Square Quilting Ruler by Omnigrid with Patented Double-Sight Lines for Squaring Up Quilt Blocks | | Item Type Name | Quilting Rulers | | Item Weight | 1.6 ounces | | Manufacturer | Prym Consumer | | Material | Acrylic | | Material Type | Acrylic | | Model | R45G | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | R45G | | Product Dimensions | 4.5"L x 4.5"W | | Style | Square | | Style Name | Square | | UPC | 762511100456 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Omnigrid - **Color:** Clear - **Graduation Range:** 1/8 Inches - **Material:** Acrylic - **Style:** Square ## Images ![Omnigrid Square Quilting Ruler for Sewing and Scrapbooking, 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/919IPE5yckL.jpg) ![Omnigrid Square Quilting Ruler for Sewing and Scrapbooking, 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71E-Cny3OJL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Omnigrid 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" Square Quilting and Sewing Ruler - Omnigrid 5-1/2-Inch by 5-1/2-Inch Non-Slip Quilter's Ruler - Omnigrip by Omnigrid Non-Slip Ruler, 5" Square --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/13274723-omnigrid-square-quilting-ruler-for-sewing-and-scrapbooking-4-1](https://www.desertcart.is/products/13274723-omnigrid-square-quilting-ruler-for-sewing-and-scrapbooking-4-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
