2-Pack DC 24V 40mm x 10mm Brushless Cooling Fan, Dual Ball Bearing, 2 Pin

The wire length is only 6 inches from the connector to this 24v fan (40mm x 40mm x 10mm). The 2 pin connector was the right size, but I needed at least 7 1/2 inches to reach the connector on the circuit board. I purchased it because it is reported to be quiet and QUIET IT IS!! I cannot hear it at all and if my APC BackUPS power supply had not pass its self-test, I would not know it was on. Really! Rather than return it, I decided to splice the wires with that from the original fan that caused a startlingly loud alarm on my APC BackUPS 900 battery backup power. In 2016, I purchased a uxcell DC 24V 0.09A replacement fan because the original was making noise and I feared just such a need. But the uxcell is way too loud with a constant humming noise. So I order this brand to see if it was quieter. It is inaudible! If my APC battery backup UPS hadn't passed its self-test and my unplugging it from the AC outlet to test it's battery backup capabilities, I would not know it was on! It was worth the effort to splice the connector (soldered with shrink wrap insulation).

The fans themselves are amazing, i lubed the bearings with superlube oil, and you can barely hear them. The quality seems decent from the 2 i recieved, but i am not sure how the quality control is. Only downside is how short the cables are. In short terms they were a great motherboard and hotend fan replacement for my ender 3 v2, these will also work with any other variant of ender 3, as long as its a 24v connection. Overall very satisfied and will be ordering more when i need to replace them again in the future. If you are going to replace your hotend fan with one of these make sure you are able to reliably solder a nice joint, i reccomend practiceing on similar size wire before, or even just use a connector with low temp Sauter.

I know that these aren't silent fans but pretty dang close. This fan was a perfect fit for my Ender 3 V2 and my Ender 3 Pro. It was easy to install and worked from the very first power up.

Works nicely on my APC Battery Backup UPS. Quiet. Hopefully these will last many years.

I've had these for a few days now and have done a fair amount of printing on my Ender 3 with one of them. They're far quieter than either the stock fan or the allegedly quiet fan I replaced it with, although they do not move quite as much air as my previous fans. They seem to do a good enough job keeping the hot end cool though, so it's a good tradeoff. They're not completely silent, but they're also probably the quietest fan on my printer now so it wouldn't accomplish much for me to get a quieter fan unless I replace the others first. Overall, very happy so far. If they hold up to the many hours of printing I intend to subject them to, they're five stars all the way in my book. My only gripe is that the label is sideways because of the orientation of the fan mount on my printer. ;-)

I used these for a hot end with a 70w heater cause it was giving me issues on the stock fan. These do move a bit more air. Better than a overpriced poop brown fan which yes is quieter but moves far less air. Shouldn't be in the same room as melting plastic to begin with so loudness isn't a issue. Definitely has more static pressure coming off the front than most of the other 40s I've tested. These will end up being my go-to when replacing fans in the future

Good fans, low cost. Not the quietest in their size, but they work.

This is the quietest fan I've gotten for my printer which is an X2. Stock fan squealed after the first print. 2nd fan eventually got loud. Neither had bearings like this one claims. Can't even tell it's on sometimes when it's cool. Happy so far.

Je les ai achetés pour remplacer les ventilateurs de mon ender 3 v2. Ils sont arrivés rapidement dans une enveloppe à bulles. Ils sont très silencieux et comparables à un sunon que j'avais déjà acheté mais ce dernier est 2 fois plus cher. De plus ils sont en 24v donc rien à faire si ce n'est une soudure sur les câbles d'origine car ils sont livrés avec un câble de 10cm environ.

Bei meinem 3D Drucker war der Hotend-Lüfter nach 2 Jahren zum Kreischen übergegangen und musste ersetzt werden. Diese Lüfter sind deutlich leiser als der Original-Lüfter je war (sofern mich meine Erinnerung nicht völlig trügt). Mittlerweile ist auch der zweite Lüfter als Gehäuselüfter verbaut - und dort deutlich leiser als das Original - so dass ich wohl bald nochmal (als Reserve) bestellen werde. Das in anderen Rezensionen bemängelte hochfrequente Pfeifen ist vorhanden - dank altersbedingter Änderung des "Frequenzganges" meiner Ohren für mich jedoch nicht störend.
