Panasonic "Jet Force Bagless" Upright Vacuum Cleaner MC-UL423, Orange Octane & Black finish

I do "love" the power, style, weight and price of this model. However, this color and model does not come with the retractable chord or the pet or furniture brush cleaning tool attachment like the others colors in this style. I didn't realize that until after I set it up which was very easy and vacuumed the living room. This machine has some great suction and well worth the price. I just wish I had seen that the retractable chord was not on this unit, nor the pet/furniture brush tool. That is why I'm only giving it 3 stars. If it wasn't so much of a hassle to repack and return I would have gladly paid the extra $20 for the extra tool and the retractable cable. I wish the differences in models were more clear on the description. I thought the price difference was because of color not actual hardware.

It was very challenging/stressful shopping for an affordable vacuum but I finally landed on this one. I just pulled it out of the box and vacuumed my 8x10 area rug and the thing really picked up a LOT of dust, dirt, and dog hair. It is pretty light, relatively quiet (except on the bare wood floors it makes a bit of a racket) and my husband especially likes the hot rod orange color of it. The hose seems kinda tight with the reach (maybe it will stretch easier after some usage?) but it has a washable filter which I consider to be a bonus. Over all, it seems like it will do what it's supposed to pretty well and it didn't cost a King's ransom! Hopefully, I won't have to update this review with any negative comments in the days to come...Also, be aware that this model does not have a retractable cord (which might be a good thing--one less thing to break!)

Everyone likes a good deal. When I was reading an article recently, I saw that this particular Vacuum was compared to one of the more expensive ones. Because of the advancement of technology, I believed what I read from what I considered a reliable source and bought this Vacuum. I can honestly say that I have not been disappointed--at all. It really does an excellent job of cleaning the carpet. I have not been disappointed at all and have already recommended to others.

I like this vacuum. It does what I want it to, which is to pick up dirt. My previous vacuum was awful and this one picked up so much of the dust and dirt that it left behind. I like that that its hose is easy to detach, so I can go from vacuuming the floor to sucking up stuff on the couch in an instant. It does OK on hardwood floors and can reach under my kitchen table fairly easily.

This is a great vacuum. I love how well it works. I had a cheap little $30 vacuum and it was always getting clogged. This thing just goes and goes. My only disappointment is that it does not have a retractable cord as it says in the decription above. Had I known that I would not have bought the orange one, I would have bought the blue one instead.

I love the suction of this machine. Was surprised that Panasonic made vacuums and have been pleasantly surprised. The compartment for debris is easy to empty and the power cord is nice and long;. The only reason for not giving it five stars is that I wish the attachment cord was longer. I think we all long for a machine with that.

This vacuum works great for pet hair on carpets. It is quieter (not quiet though) than my previous vacuum and the ability to clean the filters yourself is really cool. For the price, it is a pretty good bargain. Works well, not Dyson expensive. This model doesn't have the ability to retract the cord, but that's a minor inconvenience.

Very bad experience in my life with this vacuum. It always stops working within 1 week of purchase. Very bad quality. Never will buy again. All dust comes out while you do vacuum. It takes from floor and from middle returns to your nose to smell and breath with this dust.
