Easy to apply instant improvement
After a lot of searching for a trim restorer that will actually last more than a couple weeks I finally chose solution finish! This stuff has a much more “professional” quality to it. It’s fairly simple to apply and it works immediately! 3 weeks later and it looks just as good as it did on day 1! If your trim is really faded then I’d recommend 2 applications spaced out about a day apart to give the first coat time to set fully. Stuff works so well that after showing it to my dad he asked me to send him the link so he could buy a bottle himself lol. Also good to know is that the 1 oz bottle will seem pretty small but it’s more than enough to do atleast a few applications on an average suv.

Get your faded trim restored, not just temporarily glossy.
This is by far the best black plastic trim restorer I've ever used and a little definitely goes a long way. When applied and buffed into the surface I was left with trim that looked NEW not just shinier, faded trim. This is an awesome product that actually performs up to it's advertised hype. I restored all the black trim on my Rainier and the bottle is still nearly full. When I eventually use up this bottle, I'll certainly be buying more. For those that like the oily, high gloss appearance you get from lesser quality products, you can always restore your trim to a new appearance with this product then apply your typical Auto store silicone based products for a high gloss finish.

Seemed too good to be true but it worked! Updated.
(update at the bottom) I watched the video and read the reviews and this sort of sounded like an "As Seen on TV" type product that promised a lot. It did work though. It took the black plastic on an old 1999 Dodge Ram that had been cloudy and faded and turned it black. I did shake it, I wore rubber gloves, I removed the excess from the paint quickly and applied it carefully and evenly. (2 coats in some spots) I used about 1/4 of a bottle on the truck so far. I don't know how long it will last but it has already lasted several days and through several rainfalls. (way longer than Armor All for example) I hope it lasts 6-12 months. It looks like I replaced the plastic parts of the truck with new parts. I would recommend this product if you have older looking black plastic parts of your cars body that you would like to 'restore' to factory appearance. Update: 5/5/2018 Took off one star. The product held up for a while. It lasted several months. You do have to reapply it though. You don't use much when you use it though so a small bottle goes a long way.

Exceeded Expectations
Seldom do we find any product that is quite as good as we've hoped. This blackening fluid caused me to stop a stranger on the street as I was applying it and tell him how amazed I was. The directions say to wipe off the excess just after applying it. In my testing phase, I thought maybe leaving it on over night might let it penetrate or somehow improve results. I was wrong because it gets a bit sticky and makes work that is avoided by following directions. And perhaps because I had waxed my paint (not the black plastic, of course), I found that I could quickly smear the fluid onto the black parts, not worrying about over-smear because all of the excess wipes right off easily, leaving the black with a nice dark charcoal sheen. And the harder plastics (mirrors) became gloss black. Nice! The small bottle did the whole job including a rear bumper and luggage racks. Though I started with gloves, they leaked, so before I was finished, I had a lot on my hands, but kerosene took it right off except around my fingernails, so maybe I'll paint my nails black and nobody will notice except my agriculture friends.

This stuff works great
Ordered this to refresh the trim on my 2012 Subaru Outback which has been spending all of it's time in the elements instead of the garage, which had caused significant fading and striping of the exterior plastic trim. I ran by a youtube review of this product and despite a relatively high price, thought I would give it a go. The first order arrived and the package was empty, I talked to Amazon who refunded my purchase and then I ordered it again. In the meantime, I had two emails from the company apologizing and wanting to make sure everything was OK with the second order. Over the weekend, I washed and then used isopropyl alcohol to remove any residue. The trim turned out fantastic, as good as they day it arrived from the dealer. A couple thoughts... 1. A little goes a long way, I applied with a micro-fiber cloth (which I tossed when done). 2. Wear gloves, this will stain your hands. 3. Let it sit for a few minutes then lightly wipe it down (this worked for me to get an even application). 4. Let it dry before taking it out or getting it wet. Over-night was long enough for me.

Good, but not great...
Update: it’s been a few days and the trim is starting to fade. It’s still better than before the treatment, but I’ll probably have to reapply very soon. My little old 2007 Honda Fit needed some love so I decided to freshen up the trim. A little definitely goes a long way. I used a small brush to apply it to the grill, which took forever but was well worth it! Hopefully you can see the difference.

Works as Promised!
I have a 1999 Tacoma that I love—some of the plastic parts have faded over time, but this product did a great job and restoring the plastic! If there’s scrapes or imperfections in the plastic, obviously they will still be there after the application, but it also does help to minimize the appearance of them. Cleaned the parts with rubbing alcohol, applied with a microfiber cloth, then buffed with a clean microfiber cloth. I’m happy how it turned out! EDIT: Two months later, and product is still holding up! Very pleased with it still

#1 good shipping time
Ok. First off I write honest reviews, and usually give 5 star reviews if it works. #1 good shipping time.#2 mine came in a white bottle."don’t know if that matters ?" #3 this is a dye, that being said i used this using their "professional" instructions to a T. Will this work on hard black faded plastics? Probably. Will this work on polypropylene or rubberized plastics? Absoblutely not. Am I mad. No. But i do speak the truth..Yes sorry. Do I feel like a full refund? Yes. I felt mislead. When applying solution it looked fantastic. When completing final wipe down, all was lost. Applied 3 different coats letting each one sit longer before final wipe to no change. Sorry I feel like tirewet does better until it rains. Solution looks great until wiped off. If you let it sit , remember i said it was dye.Clothes, skin,=Ruined if bumped up against. I feel like a full refund should be in order for me.Product arrived earlier today. Again im not a hater but honest. Maybe it works for others but ive seen no result on faded rubber or polypropylene. Was basically trying to make a piece from 2016 look new again. Fail. No money back.No problem,it was 12 bucks,I really just wanted this product to work ! Thats all

Easy to use with a "like new" finish.
Easily the best black plastic reviver I've used, and I've tried many over the years. Simple to use, just clean the trim parts ( best with isopropyl but that's not essential ) and then once it's dry apply the product. You only need a tiny amount as it spreads easily with great coverage. Ensure you follow the instructions though and buff off after application otherwise the excess can become sticky. The final finish is exactly how you'd like it to be, bright satin looking and just like new plastic, not shiny like others. I can highly recommend this product. The bottle is tiny but it really goes far so don't be disappointed if the bottle is smaller than you'd imagine.
