amazing value chalk paint, you can cover anything with it!
This is great chalk paint! It dries fast and doesn't need a top coat. I did use one but it seemed unnecessary, this paint adheres perfectly to wood, laminate surface and metal. I've been repainting tables and cabinets with several colors and been very happy with the coverage and mostly happy with the colors. This wasn't obvious in the listing but "willow mist" is a perfect light pink. I repainted bathroom cabinets with it and used it to stencil over the Sage green paint on shelving (in photo). The Sage is a nice subtle old fashioned, antique pale green and the Turkish Tile is a lovely darker blue that leans teal. The weirder color is the Oatmeal, it's basically a pale green. It's okay as an accent color but it wasn't what I expected as a main color. I did try the Country Chic brand and their colors were dull and ugly in person and twice as expensive as Folk Art, so I believe this was a great choice.

Great brand
This is the best chalk paint I've used so far hands down. Ive used it to distress furniture, on glass jars for candles, and on tin cans. It stays on and the color is beautiful.

Stunning Color - Perfect For Making Old Furniture New Again
I love this color! I recently painted my living room wall navy and needed a great color for side tables to stand out. I purchased a nice pair of side tables from Craigslist for $30 and was excited to DIY something great. This colors was perfect to accent my navy walls and have the old, simple side tables pop. I've never used chalk paint before, and I has no intention of distressing this, I was just excited not to have to sand/prime furniture before painting. There are a lot of tutorials and tips available on chalk painting furniture, and I was able to make my old side table new again! First thing I've learnt about chalk paint is that it's incredibly easy to use, no primer and sanding saves you a lot of time and energy. The paint is not waxy/sandy as you might imagine "chalky" being, instead it's smooth and very easy to roll on or paint with. Chalk paints are also very forgiving, I tried to stick to keeping my brush strokes straight and in one direction, but it does get hard in tight spots, and yet, after drying and adding finishing wax, it's smooth and even. This is also a great value for me, I was able to paint both side tables (3' tall, 25" wide and 16" in depth) with the entire bottle. I wasn't able to paint the complete inside with this color, but I always intended to make the inside white, so it wasn't very disappointing to me. After my experience using chalk paints for the first time, I'm completely hooked on chalk paints, I doubt I'd go back to normal paints for my furniture DIYs. This chalk paint is a great value at under $10, and I definitely recommend it if this is your first time chalk painting. You're in good hands with this chalk paint, and this particular color looks better on my furniture than I could have ever hoped for. I'll be buying other colors soon.

Wonderful Product!
Goes on so beautifully. Great quality. Really was impressed with how much it covers with only one coat. Great value for your buck! I used it on my dresser and was very impressed.

Folk Art Chalk Paint in general + color in Sage
A few things about Folk Art Chalk Paint + about this color (Sage): I’m totally obsessed with this Folk Art chalk paint. I’ve tried other less/more $$ ones and I keep coming back to this one. Some other chalk paints are not as thick or pigmented so I end up having to do way more coats with other brands (ESPECIALLY lighter colors) whereas with folk art after 2 coats I’m usually done with an even colored finish. There are some reviewers that have disliked or commented that the paint seems dried out or clumpy… but that’s the nature of this chalk paint. It will go on smooth if you can get past that it may look like a low-key Ghostbusters blob when it comes out 😆 This is why this paint has such great coverage and pigment. In general, that’s a good thing. Even if you plan to do more of a washed look, watering this down you need to use so much less of it than other brands imo. Getting a clear matte or gloss varnish afterward to brush on has worked for me…. Protective/finishing doesn’t seem to cover evenly enough for larger pieces and the waxes I’ve tried can be hit or miss with buffing color out once it’s dry and you think you’re good to go. With all that said… re: this color SAGE… … is definitely more of a lightish blue with a touch of green. It dries like a light robins egg blue like a couple other reviewers said. There’s a darker sage that’s available that would be more true to a green sage than this color would be. It’s pretty, but if you’re not going for any blue undertones, I’d pick another color.

I'm very happy with this "neutral" dusty purple color.
This is everything I hoped the color would be. It looked quite pink in my monitor settings, but I took a chance anyway. It is a nice dusty purple with hints of greige. Neutral enough to go well with most other purples. This is a super-matte chalk paint with good coverage that is easy to work with and distresses well. I couldn't beat the price either.
