This works great!! Use extreme caution while using this product.
I was looking for a tool to do some wood carving with. In my minds eye I was seeing this. I looked for something like this at harbor freight, they have em, for $39.99 for 1. It was more than I wanted to spend and with confirmation that something like this was actually made and sold I looked for Amazon to have them. They did, the price was within budget, I ordered. The first time I used it I was thrilled at how fast and easy they remove wood. Kind of expected from a chainsaw like tool. But was pleasantly surprised at this attachment for my angle grinder. Be extremely careful and wear gloves and eye protection while using this item. I would consider it way more dangerous than a grinding or cut off wheel that I would normally use on an angle grinder. It is now one of my favorite and top used tools for wood carving.

Amazing cutting power!
We had to make some saddle cuts in timbers, for a bridge facade replacement. Our chainsaw got the meat cut out, but to get the more detailed curve we needed, these cutting wheels worked perfectly. I was a little nervous at first, after reading some reviews, but keeping PPE and safety in mind, these can be used with no complications. I can’t wait to use these for some crafty projects.

So much easier than trying to hold a chainsaw .
Works great and easy to get stuff done fast.

Well Made
I think these are more for fun than work lol They work great and cut right through small tree limbs. And they can carve, too, if that's your thing. I used them on my Porter Cable PCC761B and they work great.

Nice wheels
I bought these to grind on a small stump. It wasn't worth renting a machine. I didn't want to dull a circular saw blade or wait for it to rot out. I mounted the cutter to my grinder and started carving. Lowered a 10" diameter stump about 1.5 inches. The cutter threw chips all over even with the guard on. It also didn't reach as deep as I wanted because the guard was in the way and 4" just isn't very large in diameter. It chopped right into the stump but the pieces I could cut off were small. I probably cut for 45 minutes pretty much grinding away most of the wood that was removed. I used two hands. I didn't notice any real kick back. More like the blade was cutting hard butter. When finished the blade was still cutting like new and the cutting edges still felt sharp.

Certainly no precision tool
I got this hoping to be able to make more precise woodcarving cuts than could be attained with a chainsaw. It takes a while to get used to handling the grinder and anticipating which direction the tool will get pulled depending on where along the cutting wheel contact is made. I assumed this might have been good for grinding down small stumps, but ended up being fairly slow at that task. Also, be sure to use this in a quality angle grinder, projects involving long run times will burn up cheap angle grinders.

Great for Branches
Works great with my cordless angle grinder. Used it to cut small trees out of the chain link fence as well as cutting up downed branches. One hand operation. Just remember where the other hand is located!
