I got this Audubon Bird Call as a little gift for my daughter, and it’s been such a fun and surprisingly charming item to have. This is a great product, worked right out of the bag. I'm still tinkering and trying to figure it out but it's doing what it's suppose to do and that's to get the birds attention, I have some luck with mostly the society finches that is around my neighborhood. I haven't really tested it a park or a forest or anything like that but it was really fun playing around with it. It has a nice solid build that's really easy to hold in your hand and twist, it does take some time to get use to and figure how it works. It's a little bit hard to explain to other people how to use it though. My girlfriend tried it a few times with no luck and a few times with some pitch. It works fine for me though. The only minor/major complain that I have with this product is the rosin that it comes with. Don't get me wrong the rosin works great and it was so nice of Audubon to include it with it. But I just have the complain of it coming in the pill case, maybe it was just me and maybe the weather is just dry from where I'm at but I could not for the life of me open the pill case without pretty much throwing it away after because the pill case just fell apart and cracked as I try to open it. And yes i did try the gentle way.

Easy to use but the birds ignore us!

I use this on my keys and whenever I'm out for walks I'll see what calls back to me. Small enough to fit in my pocket no problem and it's fun for everyone, not just kids! Build quality is pretty stable, value is great, and it's dead easy to use. Love the wood appearance and it's a nice fidget toy too

The first one I ordered had a broken resin pack, but after a replacement was sent, we were able to use it, and couldn't be happier. It is amazing how much it sounds like little song birds! Made a great gift for my bird-watching hubby. It is well made, and compact enough to bring anywhere.

Item arrived on time. Rosin capsule was stuck in the hole of the handle. Plastic capsule was very brittle and cracked, spreading rosin all around. The call seems to work fine now but I don't have any rosin left if the call needs it.

Bought this for birdwatching up in the northern states
