The Italians know how to make religious jewelry and this is no exception. Perfect design with a cross and miraculous medal in lustrous sterling silver. Already received compliments! Great price as well.

It is only silver plated. The necklace is beautiful but once you wear it a couple of times it starts to tarnish with the silver rubbing away.

I purchased this necklace for my daughter at an outlet store. She loved it but it broke within a few days. She liked it so much and had received numerous compliments. Finally found the same necklace on Amazon and purchased it. My daughter was thrilled and has enjoyed wearing it without any problems.

I got this pretty necklace because it’s a near match with a bracelet I bought from a store in Vatican City. I like to wear short necklaces, so I chose the 16-inch length. Even though, it’s advertised as a choker, it is still long enough to ‘hang’ around my neck instead of wrapping around it as a choker would. It doesn’t have an extender chain. The necklace comes with a certificate of authenticity and care instructions, and an anti-tarnish strip. It has the 925-sterling silver stamp on the clasp. The chain with its silver beads is beautiful and fine, but I would not describe it as delicate though. The necklace is thin but feels sturdy and well-constructed, not cheap. Though the miraculous Mary medal is only about ½” long, you can see the words in the inscription around the image clearly. This medal brings me a lot of comfort during uneasy times. I haven’t had the necklace or worn it long enough to see if it tarnishes or not, but I do intend to follow the care instructions closely. I like this necklace because it’s elegant in its simplicity and a little unconventional, thanks to the cross lying on its side.
