I purchased this camera mainly to use with Skype. After reading the reviews I was torn on what to expect but I have to admit, It is a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Packaging was adequate. Not to overdone but still protected the device while in transit and my UPS guy isn't always the most gentle with my packages. Honestly, I don't really care about packaging as long as it gets the product to me undamaged. This one did fine. The setup was simple. I plugged it into my Windows 10 computer, the computer recognized it was a camera, found a compatible driver, installed it and poof! It worked first time right out of the box. My wife and I play a weekly Dungeons and Dragons game with friends on the other side of the country over skype. This camera provides a crystal clear picture of the room allowing us to be seen which greatly enhances the game. The part I was most worried about though is the built in microphone. You see, we have three kids ages 9, 8 and 3. We also have three dogs and a cat. Our house is a constant cacophony of sound. The TV blaring, Dogs barking, kids screaming and fighting, doors slamming, cat singing us the song of his people... How well will the built in Mic work so that we can talk through skype from wherever we happen to be in the room with the typical noise of a wild and crazy house in the background. The answer is, very well. Yes the mic pics up the dogs and kids and doors and TV's and screaming and meowing when it makes it into the computer room but as long as they keep it out of the room we are using skype in it is very bearable. It has not interrupted the game yet. It is sensitive enough that I can sit at my computer desk at the far end of the 10 by 17 foot room, speak at a normal volume and be heard but not so sensitive as to pick up the TV blaring in the living room. Overall, I am happy with this aspect. Overall, I rated this camera 5 stars across the board and that is not something I normally do. Read a few of my reviews on Yelp and Amazon and you will discover I have no problem telling a company, or their customers, when a product or service sucks. This particular product does not suck. For the price, I would call it very, very good.

Plugged it in to my Windows 11 PC, and it just worked. Super easy. Wish the USB cable was longer, but I could get an extension if I really cared all that much. The video looks alright. Maybe a little better looking than the built in 720P webcam in my $1600 laptop. Not bad at all for the price. My monitor is not flat in the back, as you can see in the photo, but the part of the webcam touching the back of my monitor is rubberized and that does help it stay put. Over all, I am satisfied with the mounting stability as is (not pleased but satisfied), which surprised me; I thought I would need to use the included tripod when I unboxed it. Including the tripod is a great feature but at the same time I am glad I don't really need it. FYI: it does not try to focus on anything in particular, it just keeps everything in frame sharply in focus, near or far. I prefer that, but some may prefer having the subject in focus and the rest blurred. Look elsewhere in that case.

This is a good webcam, easy to set up, the picture looks great and the sound is good. BUT it does not auto focus.

This camera is solid as a steel. Picture quality is crispy clear. However, this camera is a disappointment due to the fact that there is no software to capture the pictures or record the video. What good is it if the picture and video quality is excellent but you can not record it or save on the desktop? The manufacturer did not include a recording software. They only provided a picture of the camera with the buttons but no explanation of how the buttons work.The documents are viewed upside down. The image appears opposite to the original orientation. For example, Right is Left and Left is Right; very confusing. There is no way to change the orientation. No software to correct the settings. I gave it 3-stars due to the fact that it doesn't have any software to adjust the settings. You can not make presentations with this camera. To get a 5-points, a camera must have its own software to correct orientations and setting for good quality picture and videos. Bottom line: 21st Century camera manufacturers must provide a software for their camera to make it user friendly. Manufacturers of 21st Century cameras should not rely on Skype, Zoom, or Teams softwares. These softwares are very difficult to set up and their requirements are too complicated. Just provide cameras with stand alone softwares like Logitech cameras. Unfortunately, Logitech cameras are sold out everywhere or too expensive for teachers to purchase. I wish Logitech should make more cameras with recording capacity to assist teachers in this pandemic era.

This camera works good for my Desktop and it displays clear quality when using it. I like the design of it and especially the Privacy Protection Cover because whenever I'm not using it, I can just flip the cover down. The Webcam has a microphone and is 1080p quality. The cord for the Webcam is decent length but should have been longer. The Webcam feels good and feels like it can withstand a drop if it perhaps falls off of your monitor or computer. The Webcam stand sits good on my Desktop Monitor and the little Tri-pod stand is perfect. It was easy to setup, all I had to do was plug it in to the Computer or Laptop and it was ready to use. I didn't have to install a program or driver as it was Plug and Play already. I like this Webcam and it doesn't give me any issues. I recommend this Webcam if you're searching for an affordable Webcam such as this as it does it's job and is described as it is.

Connection issues. Works for a second and then the screen statics and disconnects. Computer usb port works fine with all other devices but this one.

So the camera quality on this was very good the unfortunate part is the microphone didn't work properly in Zoom and I had to go to an external mic it kept picking up too much background noise so I went to a more of an omnidirectional type mic

One day delivery as expected. Crispy and wide angle video quality I have been relying on the Macbook's webcam before, this detached webcam helps me to save desk space all the while providing a better video quality.

I bought it for my daughter’s chrome book but she couldn’t make it work for Zoom calls....that was disappointing. I should have returned it.-
