The problem is ensuring you don't damage your eyes and head in general. Also you don't really want to cover the ends, because you'll find you need both whatever the job. The biggest single job I've done was breaking 4 concrete plugs (about 1.5 foot ball'ish things) that held concrete posts. Maybe just your wording, but don't be hammering it - driving it by hitting which would be difficult and very dangerous, it's weight combined with controlled falling from a couple of feet is plenty of power. Goggles, gloves, safety boots an absolute must. Also after use, wipe off any crud and spray with WD-40 to prevent rust. **Q: Is the chisel end of straight or does it have a slight offset bent into it.** A: Thank you for your question.
