Healing HER: Poetry that nourishes the soul through feminine energy (Soul-Skin Series)

This book made understand my feelings and guide me to overcome them. Absolutely love it.

Sez Kristiansen's beautiful prose and poetry are balm for the soul. She takes you by the hand and leads you into a universe made up of words that not only heal and question but inspire and lead. I kept returning to passages that I read again and again, and closed the book with a confident smile that I, too, will be able to heal using the potency of her writing. By skillfully describing the deep feminine, both in dysfunction and perfect harmony with its surroundings, she manages to be artistic, humoristic, warm and loving, all on one page. I felt on a very deep level that what she writes is true and I think that everyone that takes the time to read her words will feel this, too. 'Healing Her' is the first book by Sez Kristiansen I've read but I'm already eagerly anticipating her next work. (It is perhaps also worth mentioning that though I happen to share her last name we are by no means related!)

I was already a fan of Sez Kristiansen, having discovered her on the Insight Timer app, and was excited to dive into a whole book of her work. I was not disappointed! Her words "we are the sum of our inner dialogues" really lands and tells us where our work lies. She brings hope, light and energy to the work of healing in our lives, and supporting each other through it. Her voice is gentle and insightful. Thank you!

These are poems for every women. Not only did the words speak to me, but I found healing poems within for so many women in my life. A quick, beautiful, and meaningful read.

I'm not sure how or when I got a copy of "healing her". I love poetry so someone may have passed it on to me. I have had it a while. I finally got to it on the beach the other day. I had no expectations really, I just felt like reading poetry on the beach. I was totally amazed by what this book brought out in me. I am no spring chicken and this isn't my first rodeo, as they say! I felt like a young girl once again. This book transformed me. It made me appreciate my young innocent girl charm. It made me realize what brought me to this age of wisdom and comfort in my own skin. I have just lived my life doing what you have to do as a woman. Trying to keep my sanity through it all. No real time to think, just keep moving forward and don't look back! Having read, Healing Her, I realized it was the very best thing I could do for myself at this point in my life. Let's just say I'm heading towards the end of it. Hard to believe that a little book like this could make me realize how truly great my life has been. It made me appreciate how strong I am and how strong I have been. Thank you, Sez.

I cannot properly articulate nor do this beautiful soul justice in writing a review. Just buy the book. EVERY WOMAN NEEDS THIS BOOK. You need to remember who the frack you are! We need reminders because our insecurities and fears latch on to the distractions and echoes of the bitter mouths and plant doubt in us. Make us question our core beliefs of ourselves. Nah, fig that. Remember who you are. It's crucial. Never let anyone tell you different and if they do, don't entertain it. It's a reflection of you, not them. Hence, when a female rips me apart, I know she's talking to herself at me not me. So I observe and find compassion and immediately forgive. We don't see it because we live in an artificial world that the enemy has planted lies and seeds of distraction. Generations of broken bitter women who carry on the brokenness cannot teach us of the beauty and love for they themselves do not have it nor the ability to see or comprehend it. It's like blind leading the blind but in this case, bitter leading the bitter to their destruction. I implore all women to buy this book for themselves and a couple to hand out to all the women you love and cherish. Spread this book, heal our women, thank you Sez, thank you, you beautiful healing soul. We will meet again. I'm sure. I plan to publish soon as well.

Beautiful poetry about womanhood, a must read :)

It is hard to put into words how these lines touched my soul. This is an amazing book for healing & Sez’s poetry is breathtakingly beautiful. A must read. Love!

I raced through this prose and poetry book because I loved it so much and could not get enough of it, but to do that is an injustice. One must devour each, in its own right. I had to go back and re-read each one individually to savour and digest. I resonated and connected with each and every one; it was like Sez had finally put words to my own thoughts, giving clarity, meaning & strength. With each poem I could start to feel whole again. It is inspirational to finally have a woman not only use their femininity as a strength but showcase and celebrate it. Hopefully it will empower all woman to look within and find their own feminine strength and use it as such. Can’t wait to see what is next for this amazing author.

There were some moments when reading this book, that I really felt understood. That someone had managed to beautifully articulate things I have been trying to for a while now. There is also some lovely advice amongst these pages, and inspiration. Just what I was looking for.
