Quality fresh caramels with good flavor, but difficult to unwrap
These caramels came fresh - just the right softness for this sort of caramel. Flavor and texture are very good, and the price point is reasonable - I would not call them a "bargain" but I do feel as if I got good value for what I paid. These caramels loose a star because of the unusually high difficulty in unwrapping them. The issue is not with the plastic wrap sticking to the caramel - I did not find this to be a problem unless the caramel got warm and soft(er) due to handling. The issue seems to be that the wrap seems to be glued or heat-treated in such a way that the wrap will not unfold as you'd expect when you start pulling on it. More often than not the wrap will tear or just get stuck in the caramel rather than unfold if you tug on its edge where you'd normally start opening one of these.

I have ordered the caramels for some time now, ordered three this last month, first one was very good, nice and fresh, but the last two, were old, did not taste good. I was very disappointed. I would appreciate a new fresh bag sent to me. Thank you Jane Johnson
