Flipped for these needles
I had to try these, I'm a fan of double points. If you like double points give these a try, instead of trying to manage 4 needles and knitting with the fifth, you only have three needles with a flexible middle section. You only have 2 needles to manage and knit with the third. I bought these needles to learn fair isle, so far they work very well.

Great knitting needles
They are an interesting set of knitting needles, very easy to use. I’ve never use them before. It was recommended to me by a very experienced knitter. This are a great option for those who have a hard time with circular needles. They are great if you are traveling since they don’t use much space at all, if you are flying, making socks or anything small.

Better than stupid circular cables
I own maybe a million of these. I wish they came 5 to a pack though.

Beware of size if you use different brands
In the middle of a project my HiyaHiya flexible double point needle set broke (bird chewed the cable of one needle). I ordered the addi flexi bamboo set because it was the fastest available while having a deadline. I should have paid attention - addi as a German brand's US size 2 is 3mm instead of HiyaHiya or Clover's US 2 2.75mm. Useless for this project but I will keep the needles for another project - after all, they don' t come cheap.

Great knitting needles
I love knitting socks with these needles. In fact, they were a replacement because I broke the pair I had.

Deeply disappointing
Generally, I buy Addi products with confidence. Today I used this set for the first time and TWO of the needles failed during the first hour of knitting. The cord separated from the needle section. This are not inexpensive and this is NOT acceptable! I tried to work with the company to get them replaced, but that was not really successful without a great deal of work on my part. My time cost me more than the needles did so I just won’t buy these again.

One needle was defective. Put a crimp in my socks making!
Lobe the FlexiFlips but the first time I ised them the needle slipped out of the flex connection. Really inconvenient aa I needed all three needles to knit my socks. Contacted the company and they responded within 12 hours Only problem…I had to print off their return claim, fill it out and then send the broken needle and the claim by snail mail to Seattle, WA….and I live in Pittsburgh, PA. We’ll see how fast the replacement gets back to me. Pretty cumbersome.

Perfect! Less strain on my hands
I love the Flexiflips. My hands used to ache when knitting in the round with double point needles. I think there was just too much strain with the distortion of the piece as I was knitting and the awkward positioning of the needles. My hands don’t hurt know and I’m super fast at knitting in the round now.I’ve heard people tell me just to use circular needles to knit in the round. I’ve tried that and circular needles are usually to long for the smaller things I want to knit. The flexiflips are the perfect solution.I have both the metal and bamboo versions. I prefer the bamboo because they are lighter and quieter and feel warmer in my hands. And of course because they are less slippery I feel I have better control. The metal versions I feel like my gauge ends up just slightly looser. And I lose some speed with the metal ones because the stitches slide around a little too much for me.These are easy and lightweight. I reach for them every time.
