FEL-PRO OS 34510 T Engine Oil Pan Gasket Set for Chevrolet C10

I’ve used these oil pan gaskets on every engine build or replacement over the last 10 years. High quality, and function the way they are supposed to. Pros: Much better than ordinary gaskets, includes guides and longer screws necessary to attach pan Cons: Tough to squeeze the gasket enough to start the screws, needed to use a floor jack against the pan. More costly than alternatives.

I added an beautiful aluminum heavy duty polished oil pan to my 1976 Corvette 350 that I ordered from Amazon and sold by Speedway Motors. I needed a gasket and the gasket also was purchased through Speedway Motors on Amazon. I watch a couple of FelPro videos to draw from their recommendations. Using only a little Permatex Grey sealer on the corners front and back at the arches was my first step. No sealer on pan or block. It came with four plastic studs that screw into the block carefully at all four corners. Once screwed in I slipped the gasket on and followed up with the Aluminum pan. Both gasket and Pan hung there by stud locks until I was ready to insert a couple bolts on each side and lightly draw up the pan in a systematic manner. A common screw driver easily screws the plastic studs back out later for the other 4 bolts. As the photos show I had to drop the Power steering linkage from the right side idler arm to frame. Easy job again and Pan was simply maneuvered into place and bolts torqued down back and forth which is very important for even compression. All and all I am very happy with the Pan and gasket. I will mention that if your Corvette is early model 1974 or older this gasket part number # will not work. I think Felpro makes one like this for the earlier models as it has to be a thinner gasket. Do your research as it is written in the pan when you get it. This Part number will not work on those 74 or older corvettes and some 350.

really liked the snap ups.. My Sunbird has a removeable crossmember so I changed the pan with the engine in the car, snap ups are great. the gasket itself was nice too and came with the longer bolts needed for it.
