All Steve Rogers ever wanted to do was join the U.S. Army and fight for his country. But he was too sick and frail to pass the required physical. His patriotic dreams were shattered...until a secret branch of the military offered him a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: Steve would be the test subject in an experiment that would transform him from a weak, unhealthy civilian into a mighty Super-Soldier! Review: Gotta love to read - I also got this book for my grandson who is 7yrs. old and it has a lot of pictures which makes it easier to get into but so far he hasn't had the desire to sit and read it. I think maybe in the summer he may wanna read it since he won't have homework to contend with at the same time. Great book in my opinion but I love to read. I think if your child is a big reader it would be a great buy. Review: Excellent - As advertised

Good but lacking
Follows the plot of the movie to a point. Leaves out Bucky’s death and Steve’s relationship with Peggy at the end. Rudnick also just tells her audience the story - she doesn’t show it. Details could have been added and would have given this novelization more depth and understanding of major characters.

An Awesome Book
This book is an amazing book. It is like the movie although I think they left some parts out of the book that were in the movie. Not completely sure though. Still it is a good book and I recommend it to anyone who likes superheroes or anyone who likes to read.
