The frames are of a wood composite, intact and no scratches. The backer panel does curve at the edges, but you can figure out a way to insert a shim since there is space. These frames seem to be cut for using real glass. I inserted some precut glass from other frames, and it took up the slack. I can't comment on the "plexiglass" since I don't use it. I am displaying 13 x 19 photos printed at home on matte paper. I don't like any reflections. I know the prints will deteriorate over time, but I can reprint them. If I had "fine art" then I'd go into my stash of unused pre-cut glass from other frames and do it right. I have ordered more. I can't beat the price for simple black "wood" frames.

Cheap but work

They're plastic, not glass, but they look great and they're relatively hardy and high quality. Great price for what I got and I had no complaints! I definitely recommend them for posters and art pieces.

Would like a better way to connect on back when place frame sideways

The frame dimensions and overlap to the print were just right.

I purchased these for some star wars paintings and they look awesome on these frames.

The frame is fine, a little flimsy, but looks good. I didn't read the info carefully and the frame comes with plastic not glass.
