The Sploofy is by far the BEST smoking accessory I have used. And believe me, I have tried all of them. Seriously, I have used all three sizes of the SmokeBuddy as well as the the EcoFourTwenty. Here is why Sploofy is by far the best offer. Odor Control. The size/design of the Sploofy make it easy to make a seal with your mouth, the multi layer filter (which seems like it must be the largest by volume out there) really takes care of catching odor. No filter erases it completely, but the Sploofy absolutely performs the best out of anything I’ve used. Extra effective when you’re vaping on account of there is no smoldering flower material kicking odor into the air! The Sploofy is truly a vapers/dabbers delight! Out of every brand we’ve used the EcoFourTwenty performed by far the worst in terms of odor control. The life cycle. The Sploofy is without a doubt the longest lasting personal filter I’ve used. The product specs say you should get between 300-500 exhales but I experience no deterioration of performance for much longer than that! As a daily user I never experience the extremely noticeable clog you feel on other filters. Seriously, other filters end up so choked you literally have to force your breath through. Not so with the Sploofy! It’s a smooth, easy exhale from start to finish. Cost. Over time the Sploofy will absolutely save you money. The replaceable filters are ridiculously easy to swap out and the shipping time from these folks is fantastic. Eco friendly! The body of the Sploofy is a thin but sturdy plastic and the replaceable filter system creates less waste while also saving you money in the long run. Believe me, I spent way too much money on competitor brands figuring that out. Every SmokeBuddy filter kills the earth with their single use, thick plastic design. The EcoFourTwenty would be great as well if it’s filtering capabilities weren’t so poor. Over all the Sploofy is the best filter I’ve ever used. I wanted a product that was effective, affordable and wasn’t single use. Seriously, don’t waste your time and money trying other filters. I did and they were a waste of time and money. I purchase the sploofy refill packs frequently. The filter itself is great. Down to the core, probably a charcoal and paper filter. But to the uninitiated, it's magic and a quick conversation piece. It is good for what is needed and in a form that works. Can't complain. One of the main reasons I choose Sploofy is for the convenience of having a replaceable filter. Few competitors have a replaceable part. They instead, just have you buy a new device. At this time, this would be slighty more expensive than buying a 3-pack of replacement filters. Therefore, Sploofy gets my business and money. Slappy from Animaniacs once said: "If they make it, someone's gotta' buy it."

I live in a rec legal state but living in a close knit apartment complex I get anxious about receiving complaints from the neighbors. This filter makes a huge difference! I have used Smokebuddy in the past since they are readily available in local smoke shops but I didn't feel good about the plastic waste so Sploofy's changeable filter definitely drew me in! With daily use my first filter lasted about a month before I couldn't blow through it anymore (it straight up felt like blowing through cement by the end). Popped in a new filter and it's like it's brand new, you wouldn't even know you were blowing through anything, or that you just blew any smoke! I will say, at times I have seen a small amount of smoke leaking near the mouthpiece but it's not a ton. My seal might just not be super tight on there. I do still notice a really light smell but that I think comes more from a small amount of smoke escaping my bowl than anything to do with the filter, I'm sure this could be easily remedied with a more discreet/enclosed pipe on my part. All in all suuuper happy with the Sploofy :)

Updated to 5 stars as there is now a subscription option. My only complaint: I see that we can do a subscription for the sploofy, but not the 3 pack replacement filters. Even if there was no discount, having this set up to ship automatically would be awesome. Overall, these things are awesome. We have the old style and the new one. Sometimes smoke can leak out from around your mouth, but you might need a filter change or to hold it tighter. Filters last decently long, no clue if itd actually 300-500, but it does last longer when used for vapor instead of smoke. We use this indoors in conjunction with a shark air purifier because our pet has asthm and we dont want the smell to linger. When you walk in it doesnt smell at all, and we leave these out on the table. As someone else wrote, you should open it and let it dry after the session, the filters last a little longer that way, and will be easier to breathe through. You can use the bottom piece as a stand to set the filter and top plastic piece on to dry so you can just snap it on for next time. Really enjoy it, just wish it had a subscription.

Pro strat if you rotate between these after they get harder to blow through old ones eventually get easier to blow through again it has something to do with the cooling and drying of the internals

Love the Sploofy and the ability to change the cartridge is great. Especially since the OG site doesn't deliver to Belgium. Coming back to this to order a new pack and seeing it's already at 94 euros is a crime, though. The original site sells a three pack for 32 euros.

This is the now the third time I have bought these to replace old cartridges. They are great and last as long as they describe. Helps me vape stealthily in a number of (normally non-vape) settings.

Beware! These filters are 59.37mm OD (53.00 mm ID in the rubber ring of the filter) and 74.55mm long (tall). The lid on the vonSploof case has in internal diameter of 57.50mm ID and ic 58.75mm on the OD. The labeled vonSploof filter that came with this square shape vonSploof smoke catcher, is 62.45mm OD and is 76.90mm long (tall). Hum. Different size with a premium price! Just beware and measure

The new design is awful they have obviouslyade them cheaper the top opens when you have to replace sloofy and the wee bits in side go everywhere will be messaging Amazon about this as they are very expensive and are not worth it
