This stuff works. Been using it since having back to back miscarriages back in 2015. This is the only thing that balanced my hormones. The taste is horrible like eating dirt. But mask it in smoothies or oatmeal. Use it 4 weeks straight and off a week. Then start back again. Maca root is an adaptogen. This makes you will make you hungry, extremely fertile, give energy, great sleep, use it after workout and you won’t have sore muscles. Benefits outweighs the taste. This will also make you gassy when you first start but after everything will balance. Best used during the day. I started off with 1tsp a day for a week. Then I went up to 1tbsp a day and stuck to that. As for the P65 warning on the back of the packaging. It is required BY LAW for every company to add the P65 warning on packaging when being sold in CA. As a company, you won’t be able to sell anything to the state of CA if the warning isn’t there. From clothing to food to skincare. This is a natural root that grows in the mountains of Peru. I am not worried about the P65 warning as it’s on everything.

works great if you can get past the smell and taste but if you have a weak stomach and are sensitive to smell/taste buy capsules instead 😭 i gagged so hard i saw stars when i first opened the bag and it definitely taste exactly how it smells

I’ve been adding this maca powder to my morning smoothies, and it blends in really well. The flavor is earthy but not overpowering when mixed with fruit or coffee. I like that it’s organic, gelatinized for easier digestion, and dissolves smoothly. The 16 oz bag lasts a long time, and the quality has been consistent. A great addition to my daily routine.

I am so pleased to be writing this review. Really, it sounds crazy but it really works wonders. A few years ago my obgyn diagnosed me with PCOS based on a blood test and ovarian cysts. I tried many different supplements and went back the following year and yep still had the cysts. I had just about given up when I found this. I had taken it for about 2 months along with 10 mg of b6 and FINALLY I got a regular cycle. It was strange too because I started seeing a new doctor right before and she told me my hormonal tests came back normal. Since I hadn't yet had a regular cycle I didn't think anything of it. Anyway, I thought it was a fluke so I wasn't too hopeful. I decided to keep up the regimen just to see what happened. The next month it arrived right on schedule. It's been 3 years and my cycle is regular. I even had an ultrasound last year just for a checkup and was told I have no cysts. I really could not believe it. Perhaps I was misdiagnosed to begin with, I am not sure. All i know is that it's what I prayed for. This supplement changed my life. I didn't want to take birth control like the doctor suggested or any other drug and this has prevented me from needing to. I take 1 Tbsp in juice at night 2 days in a row with a day break in between. I take 10 mg b6 everyday. I think in the beginning I was taking the maca everyday, I cannot remember. It does not taste good however. You have to know that. I usually drink it with a straw and just try not to taste it. I don't mind the taste though, it's worth it for me. One pouch lasts me 6 months. Hope this helps someone out there. :)

I can't really speak for the benefits of this product because I could not get past the smell and taste which was horrific. I had to read other reviews to ensure that I didn't get a bad batch because I couldn't even finish the smoothie I made with it. I truly wished I knew that it was this unpleasant before I ordered it. Yuck!!! I will need to order caplets of this instead.
