Hardwire Kit for Nextbase Dash Cams

I bought this hardwire kit for my dashcam so I could keep my windshield clean and power the camera without needing to plug it into the cigarette lighter—and I’m super happy with it! Installation was easier than I expected. The instructions were clear, and all the necessary fuse adapters and tools were included. I had it wired up and running in under 30 minutes, and I’m by no means a car expert. Just make sure to double-check your car’s fuse layout and use a multimeter if you’re unsure! The build quality is solid. The cables are thick, durable, and long enough to tuck neatly along the headliner and down into the fuse box. It also has low-voltage protection, which gives me peace of mind that my car battery won’t be drained if I leave it in parking mode overnight. Since installing it, my dashcam starts up instantly with the ignition and switches into parking mode perfectly. Zero issues so far.

What a fantastic piece of kit this is! It made the job of hardwiring my dashcam in my T6.1 far easier than the last time i had to hardwire a dashcam in my old Transporter T5. Great product and well worth the cost, thanks.

The product was perfect!! just what i needed for my 522GW dash cam. I installed this in my Ford Fiesta ST180. Seems to be plenty of cable for a bigger car too! Just do your home work and decide what fuse your going to jump from i used ignition live from my rear wiper in the glove box fuse box.

Bought this product to save having to use the standard 12v cigarette lighter. Once the suitable size fuse was found on the car, by following the supplied instructions it was fairly straight forward to fit. No problems at all, and happy with this hard wire kit.

Matériels universels pour différentes voitures, j'ai utilisé ce kit d'alimentation pour une Dashcam NextBase 522GW sur un 3008-2. Tout c'est bien passé, les explications d'installations sont très claires, livré avec 2 types de fusible, dans mon cas j'ai utilisé le petit modèle. Livré aussi avec un outil permettant de cacher le câble derrière les caoutchoucs et divers panneaux. Très satisfait de mon achat.

Ich habe das Nextbase Dash Cam Hardwire Kit für den Einbau meiner Nextbase 222X Dashcam gekauft. Der Einbau verlief absolut unkompliziert: Nachdem ich im 3. Sicherungskasten meines Fahrzeugs eine passende Sicherung (für den vorderen 12-Volt-Anschluss/Zigarettenanzünder) gefunden hatte, war die Installation schnell erledigt. Trotz der Lage des Sicherungskastens im Kofferraum ließ sich das Kabel dank des beiliegenden Plastikhebels komplett unsichtbar in den Seitenteilen verlegen. Positiv überrascht war ich auch von der Kabellänge, die problemlos für den weiten Weg bis in den Kofferraum ausgereicht hat. Auf den Ferritkern in der Nähe der Kamera habe ich aus optischen Gründen verzichtet – die Funktion wird dadurch nicht beeinträchtigt. Die Nextbase 222X Dashcam läuft zuverlässig und wie erwartet. Wer eine saubere und dauerhafte Stromversorgung für seine Dashcam sucht, ist mit diesem Kit bestens bedient. 👉 Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Works perfectly, as described. Although fiddly and a mildly physical job to get it installed, it was also fairly easy to do. There's also really good videos on the Nextbase website that show you how to install it all. Great quality, I love my Nextbase dashcams.
